if i can keep scissors out my hands long enough i aim for none that are clear and from just a few turned amber to 10 percent or more...most often just a small percent amber cause i'm not patient and i personally like more of a heady effect for most strains. but for more medicated i'd defntly go for 10+

my girls are 21 days in flower today
one is dainty with multiple long somewhat skinny limbs. I say she's dainty 'cause I don't want to hurt her feelings saying she's a midget or dwarf. she's barely half the height as well as overall mass as the biggest. I suspect she's gonna give the best quality, but the least of it. beautiful girls can be such prissi's.
two appear the same and are twice as thick through out stalk and stems as the little one. really nice overall formation and beautiful moderately wide leafs.
the last is a monster! one is Banner as a human and this is the Hulk! much thicker through out the trunk and stems with big fat leave she uses to push and shove her way to get the best light. she's not polite but she's a body building beauty.
this is my first grow in a new self built vertical hydro set up and i'm very happy with how they've grown so far. i've got each plant in a two gallon bag filled with grow rocks and each bag sits on a four inch high pvc platform inside a five gallon ebb and flow bucket. there are ten buckets that are in a circle around a 600 watt hps with a 42 inch circular wire fence around it for scrog.
I should have veged longer before fliping, but as my usual I didn't want to wait. premature flip and all I hope to get an average of no less than 50 grams a plant. I think that should be attainable. the three blue dreams I have on the opposite side as the bubblegummer so far are not looking like huge yielders, but there's lots of time for 'em to get pumped.
along with those mentioned I have a super sour skunk, a cheeseberry, and a gigabud - all three look ready to put up a stink in a beautiful way and promise to help pump up yield.

I managed to chop half of it yesterday afternoon. Not impressed with the smell at the moment I must say. Smells very raw. Certainly lost the sweet scent it had. I know it will smell awful as it dries, but this is ahead of itself. I've not taken any pictures yet. Some of the main colas were very easy to trim, which was great, but there is quite a bit of airy popcorn buds along the stems from where I didn't really trim it back early in it's flowering. Oh well!

Post some pics up DreamOfGreen!! It would be good to have more pics of the bubblegummer in this thread, see how others have done with it.

I was a little surprised with this one. Initially I thought she would grow bigger than she did and when she didn't I expected little from her, but there are some good chunky colas. Only finished chopping last night so won't be until the end of the week that I know the yield.

I'm impressed by the size of the trunk...

That trunk is wild. Hope the sweet smell comes back out in cure.

Got my camera to behave. my rooms a little crowded and I'm getting ready to add a second row above the first. I'm thinking nine 3 gallon grow bags with super soil and another 600 or 400 hps.



The first shot: the Super Sour Skunk is peaking around the reflectix with the Gigga Bud to the left.
second: BG #1 is much different structure than other three and much smaller.
third & forth: #2 and 3 caught up with 4. not certain if there different phenos or not.

I can't really report anything about smell right now. A few days ago I got a moderate case of smoke inhalation and now all I smell is char. I'm confident it's nothing permanent, I reallllly hope not, but I just hope it doesn't take too long before I can smell again.

Sweet smell is not coming back. This one smells very earthy now. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong! Yield was rubbish too. Just over 6oz dry.

a little disappointed to hear it's anything less than amazing. mine are earthy with the smallest touch of sweet. not very strong yet. i gave several clones to a buddy, his will be grown in organic soil. it'll be interesting to see if the different growing style brings out any differences in smells and taste.
6oz. from one plant sounds like a reasonable yield but i'm guessing you're throwing enough light you usually get much more with most strains. i hope to get 2 ounces from each plant and to get 20 or more for the whole grow.
