I've been meaning to post a pic of the rez now that it has all the upgrades; air stones (one 4" stone under each pump) and 320 gph pump circulating nutes 24/7 through the magnets, so might as well show what the plants have been doing in the last 3 days. Plus couple pics of my led buds

Frankly, I am blown away at how well ~220 led watts are doing
compared to my High Performance Rez feeding clones under 432 hot5 watts, The 8 @ 4ft tubes are an exotic blend of aquarium bulbs of various red and blue spectrums, functioning like led panels made up of mostly Red and Blue diodes that concentrate on the peak PAR spectrum.

Proof enough for me seeing that all-white diodes hold their own against monochromatic lighting that concentrates on PAR peaks that that route is not the be all end all that most competing panels promote them to be

~220w All White LED + Simple Bubbler + Secret Weaapon Roots
gently sway in ~ 1.5g of exact same batch of nutes as in the HPR. They are bombarded with DO 24/7, via 3 large oxy stones (one directly under each clone), at roughly 27 lpm + a secret weapon: a large Amethyst crystal. Crystals also provide chi

2 things I noticed in the photos in this thread that I liked and wanted to ask more about.

1- The watering halo's - I have been looking for something similar to this for my setup.

2- The tinker toy looking trellace - This is a lovely idea

The Hydro Halo Drip rings are awesome, BUT, the holes are too small (I drilled them out) and they tend to clog. Seems like every 3-4 weeks I am pulling them to flush.

Next grow I will be placing women's nylon footies around the pump, which MAY prevent the build up, which looks like an algae

I saw the Cube in a BB & B flier. Glad I grabbed it when I did

One thing about that make your own vortex video is she connects it to an amplifier. Amplifiers need power and most times plug into the wall. I believe this is what's more than likely powering her led panel. No magic.

I dont mean to be a nay sayer. I really wanted to be blown away. I do believe in alternative, free/near free, perpetual power sources. I just dont believe that was it. Not sure anyone has ever done it ever.

Thanks... (not a hater/troll)

You lost me. She who, and what YT video are you referring to?

Sorry , I neglected this thread as it has little interest to the masses

However, I made a few significant upgrades to the system. Some of this you few followers already know. Repeating the basics in hopes of gaining new interest, so...

I've been playing with various magnetic elements for hydro for a few years. My newest version replaces the 2 large iron mgnets with much smaller (but no less powerful) neodymium magnets in repulse mode. They are attached to one ~ 1" thick magnetic nut. The nut has to be big enough to attract the repulse fields of the 2 magnets, simultaneously creating an energy vortex between them. The 1/2" feed tubes go through them to and from the rez to the tote.

Note the pic shows one mag set up feeding each tote individually from the same rez. Plants are fed from a timer every 1-5 hours, depending on stage of growth.

Brain Fart: I should move one to the recirculating system so nutes are being energized 24/7

This frees up the second mag set for the small plants finishing in another tent, though it will be on just the feeder tube, unless I add a recir pump there, too.

Yep, had another pump and all the tubing/fittings on hand. Be interesting to see what effect mag/flooming 24/7 might have on bud volume

Nutes are recirculated via a separate 160 gph pump into a funnel with glass marbles. Nutes then fall/recirculating back into the rez.

These are reveg plants that I recently harvested under Amare Technologies Hi-Intensity LEDs

Reveg

MNR (MidNightRider) is shooting new leafs all over

View attachment 316938

BM (BigMex) seems to be responding after I removed it from the large Air Pot and trimmed ~ 2" of roots between the AP and the inner net pot that did not look healthy.

Near the center of the picture note the small bud seems to be hanging on. Also, crisp leafs outside the pic are holding on to what little green is left

View attachment 316939

Removing the AP also brought the roots closer to the bottom of the tote, allowing more more nutes from each flood to rise higher into the rot ball. Nothing to loose as it is feeding from the same rez under the same SS 260. If I don't see new leafs by next Thursday I will probably pull her

Note the closeup of the rez you can see 3 o/o valves which helps control flow
and volume into the totes

OMG, I started this thread way back in December, and have not updated since May. Well I have made lots of improvements since then, including lighting

Where I live, the summer room ambient temps easily hits 90*+. I run the ac to ~ 80*, which is acceptable until I factor in that the ambient temps also affects my rez temps, something I completely overlooked until about 6 weeks ago, when I noted rez was warm to the touch

In the process of figuring that out, passively, I made various adjustments to the other rez aspects.

I eliminated the air stones, which were drawing arm air into the rez. Nutes were pumped 24/7 into a short funnel, which I replaced with a tall funnel, half filled with 1" marbles. This keeps the water aerated AND structured (look this up on YT). I also replaced iron magnets with neodymium

Reveg has come a LONG way since May. Pic taken yesterday, with 2-3 weeks to go. Come by my grow thread to follow along
