BlueBlazer; this is my most favorite thread. I so enjoy seeing the pics of Spike, Cricket, BeeBee and of course, Missy!

That pup looks like a blast! I loved the picture of Spike looking at your wife. MLD has the same look, when she is wondering why she wasn't fed! Not lately, she has recently started barking at me. 2 nights ago she barked at the doggie door to let her out to do some business. I didn't change her piddle pads that day! She'll soon be 5 and the years are passing so rapidly.

Seems like every other day she comes up with something cuter! She likes to play "chase" from the front window on top of her section of sofa. She has bitten thru the drapes and sawing them off with her teeth. So far, she is about half way thru a 60" panel. When golf carts go by, she starts making a "I wanna ride" noise and goes nuts and today she apparently decided to pull the drapes down. She has about 20inches off the rod. She already destroyed the inner sheers.

I am going to put up 2" faux wood blinds. I am beginning to think I better figure out a way to make her stop chewing at the window covering. But, it is so cute.

My dogs have made me a better person! And one day, "I hope to be the person my dog thinks I am!"

Love the pictures and watching Cricket grow up. She looks very similar to BeeBee.

That's probably part of the reason I've fallen so hard for this little shit.

I was looking for photos of our yard to give y'all an idea of how much room these spoiled bitches have to play in. I managed to get one showing part of the fenced front yard we use for pee pee time, with our groomer in the background.

This is a pic of our back yard from many years ago, before we fenced the entire yard. That's my grandkids with their faces blurred to protect the innocent.

Here's a couple of pictures of Missy and Cricket enjoying playing tug of war. They do this all damn day it seems like.

Cricket just keeps growing. Yesterday the missus says to me, "does it look like she's getting bigger to you?" My reply was, "yes it does." This morning she had a hell of a time getting comfortable in my lap because she doesn't fit as easily as she did at first.

Cricket fucking loves the snow. I used to have a three legged golden that loved the snow like that.

Missy goes out, does her business and wants right back in. She doesn't like getting her feet wet. Cricket stays out digging in the snow and shoveling it with her head. I tried to get some shots of her in action, but she's just blur. Here she is before, during, and after.

Got photobombed in this one. Heh.

You may notice the welded wire around the inside of the fence. We'll remove that after she's too big to fit through the pickets. Should be soon . . .

And here she is after.

Hey BlueBlazer,
You can take heart just knowing that you provided a great life for Spike. Looks the dog had the good life. Getting the pup was the right thing

Thanks all. More Cricket coming up.

But first, I've been thinking about Spike and feeling weepy this afternoon. He was a really cool dog and there will never be another just like him.

Cricket really is helping everyone. We got her when we did because the loss of Spike was so devastating to Missy. We wanted more time to be devastated, but made the move because Missy's heart was so broken. Of course, the loss of Spike had broken our hearts as well. Cricket has helped all three of us to get over our loss and move on with life. She keeps us all engaged.

Anyway, here's a few pics of Missy and Cricket sharing the same bed. They are becoming inseparable. I was just drying Cricket off after she came inside and she started playing tug of war with the towel. Missy ran over and looked at me as if to say, "what are you doing? That's my job."

Thanks for all the neat pictures BlueBlazer.

I love the look in Cricket's eyes; rather special. That kind of look turns me to milked toast! So precious. I've only had one dog that liked the snow, like Cricket. She would run and play until the snow caked around her little legs and anchored to one spot..stuck. Once she stopped, the snow was too heavy to lift her legs. I'd have to rescue her and dip her snow caked legs in the tub to get all that snow off.

Most kids want to grow up and have children, I only wanted to have puppies..and did.

Cricket has that look like, "I sure got them fooled!" She looks like she is starting to really indulge in the love! Missy is sure getting a good work-out, how old is Missy?

Cute little gang there Weeze..very Cute! jpt

Fat ass has been needing some exercise. Spike would play with her but didn't have the staying power. Now Missy has found a buddy who she doesn't have the staying power for. Worm has turned.

She's 8 years old now.
