One of my clients is pretty important in the sport and gave me two ticket to superbowl. I don't really understand the rules for football, but people say I should go. The baby is born any day now, so I think I have to pass ticket to another person.

The difference here is that Hernandez, is a suspected murderer…

While Sherman graduated from Stanford with honors, (having the second highest GPA of his graduating class), does a lot for his community and from everything people say, is an all around upstanding guy.

…Acting a tad over hyped mere seconds after making a huge play in playoff game, moments after being pushed by Crabtree, just doesn’t rise to the level of “thug” in my mind, (note: he didn’t even swear in his “rant”.)

Graduated with honors from Stanford.......maybe it's true and if so then it doesn't say much for their level of academia or that they might just accept payoff's...And how the hell did you miss my point ? It was clear as day, Jellyfish said that he was right for assuming that thug is a racist term in disguise instead of one that accurately portrayed his behavior..... I disagreed still do......You can dress it up all you want to defend him you're obviously a biased seahawks fan, I'm neutral and unbiased and objective....from my perspective they both displayed poor sportsmanship Crab by his push Sherman with his taunts..(doing the choke sign, butt slap, etc...) Then Sherman went above and beyond with his on camera rant....with the intent to disrespect Crabtree.....to me and most non seahawks fans thats thuggish....So as I was saying you can put lipstick on a pig but at the end of the day it's still a pig......

Attending Stanford on a football scholarship is not even close to the same thing as attending Stanford on a academic scholarship.

Not a fan of either team, but football is an emotional sport, and it was an emotional game. I think neither Crabtree nor Sherman really did anything wrong, sure maybe they need a little impulse control, but we're all human and they're not perfect.

The issue more than anything is that they are role models for our children, and as such are expected to behave on a higher level than that. All part of being a public figure. That being said, in their mind... they're not public figures. They're football players.

And I’m not defending him, I just don’t think he’s a “thug”. I was only commenting on that word in my last post.
…Additionally, if you read more than just my last post, I called him immature and a bad sport for the way he acted…They both were wrong.

To further clarify the ‘record', he graduated second in his class and got a 1400 on his SATs.
