World Class Lecture Series
Presents

Dr Robert Melamede

Please join us February 15th for a world class lecture by Dr Robert Melamede, Ph.D, on the endo-cannabinoid system, and its role in the regulation of homeostasis in vertebrates, as well as the key roles that cannabinoids play in humans and how phyto-cannabinoids can mimic these compounds in a clinical setting.

Dr. Melamede has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the City University of New York. He retired as Chairman of the Biology Department at University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 2005, where he continues to teach. Dr. Melamede is recognized as a leading authority on the therapeutic uses of cannabinoids, and has authored or co-authored dozens of papers on a wide variety of scientific subjects. Dr. Melamede also serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of Americans for Safe Access, the Unconventional Foundation for Autism, The World Aids Institute, Board Tim Brown Foundation (The Berlin Patient), Phoenix Tears Foundation, and regularly consults with professional and lay persons around the world regarding cannabis and health issues. He also served as a director of Newellink Inc, a Colorado-based company specializing in cancer research.

Please Join us Feb. 15th at the NCP Pantheon at 5932 Southeast 92nd Ave, Portland, Oregon, 97266.

I would love to come but but Feb 15th . For a working class stiff I have to be to planing things farther out. It would awesome to pair one of these lectures on the same week as a BHO class.

Never look a gift horse in the mouth thanks for hosting and if I find some way of pulling this off I will.

Sorry you can't make it bro, but we will be making a DVD, so you can catch at least the lecture portion in the comfort of your own home.

Unfortunately I don't know how to include the networking into that, which has been a major benefit for some.

We lost our lease and are still searching for a new venue for our SPR classes.

We aren't demonstrating extractions and alchemy in our lecture series, so we can just rent equipment and a hall, but really need more elaborate facilities to teach classes.

So send cash and our name? Done deal?

As long as tickets remain available, the first to send the ticket price to the address indicated, owns the ticket.

Because we sold out early for Dr Fischedick's lecture on cannabis terpenes, I rented a larger hall this time and hope to cover demand, but Dr Melamede is far better known, so won't know until the fat lady sings.

DVD I'm in just let me know when they are ready to go. So physical media vs streaming ? Are DVDs cheaper to produce than streaming it from your web site? I dont know myself just asking.

I'm sorry to hear you lost your lease I was really looking forward to coming to your classes. For someone from the midwest coming to PNW just for the lecture is a little cost prohibitive.

Appreciate you guys taking the time to put it on DVD.:tiphat:

Thanks for the good thoughts bro. Don't know whether streaming would be cheaper or know, because they invented it after my last brain matter infusion.

Travel to the PNW should be a treat in of it self and the lecture only a good excuse! Especially to chat with some of the folks who show up at these lectures, besides the world class speakers.

Sorry you won't be able to attend. We're about two strokes short of total orgasm that Dr. Fischedick and Melamede would agree to travel to Portland and share with us.

I opine that cannabis terpenes and the human endocannabinoid system are two frontiers that we will start to see significant development in, and they are leading the pack in their research.

Still working on our next surprise. We have to not only identify a world class resource, but one willing to travel to River City and speak.

I also hope you realize that starting off with Dr's Fischedick and Melamede, sets the bar at the top, so it will make it hard to keep up the pace.
