Last yr I asked my guy at the slaughterhouse ta cut me out the 2 "tri-tip" roasts in 1 of my cows I was processing for the farm , and he looked at me like I`d lost my mind....
He said keep grillin and smoking yer tenderloins and rib primals , cuz down here we grind the bottom sirloin into hamburger meat , so next time yas have meatloaf or burgers on the grill call em tri-tip loafs and burgers......and I left it alone....
I`ve had tri-tip in Cali at a ranch 1 of my old head bro`s took me to some yrs back while I was visiting , and I thoroughly enjoyed it , but don`t cook/grill it too long or it turns ta shoe leather....anyways....

i think its going to be like 70 tomorrow here,already have to go and pick up the new set of tires for the ogre,better get moving early if i want to grab a ride....which i do...then i can swing by the shop and grab the new skins,go home and eat,and then rack the surly up and get her stripped down and cleaned up,fresh shoes and a chain,and maybe fresh brake pads since i have them,then i can go out on sunday and try and rack up some mileage on the roads,maybe go out for a 50-60 mile spin,stop for lunch someplace,smoke a fattie,turn around and come home...
