Hi.

I need a suggestion.
I am on my week 6 of bloom right now. Just got the letter from electric company informing us that next week on the 29th and 30th all electricity in the area will be out. The time window is exatly when I have lights on.

What do you guys think will be the worst case scenario and what would you suggest I do?

Thank you

what wattage of lights? would a generator run at least 1 of your lights. any wattage will do them better than none. find electric or the sun?

Ouch that's a kicker. I know some old guys that shut the lights down for 2-4 days if there leaving town with no I'll affects. But that's them n I don't practice this. But an option.
Generator is another great option. Or if you can move them or open a window. To draw light in this will work for day n night sched but not the best for growing. But 2 days of it I wouldn't fret. There getting light.

Won't work. They are in the garadge without windows and there are too many of them. I have 120 plants.
Do your think I can rent generator at home depot?
And the most important question- what really do you think will happen to them. It is too late to herm on me.. What else?

U run hydro.... w/ pumps, and such....the plants could go 24- 48 hrs w/ out lights... they would be fine....

the problem comes from lack of pumps, airflow, and environmental controls.... all powered by electric....no juice + no fans, pumps, airflow..... = VERY BAD for 2days...
that would cause a hermi way faster than lack of light.....

U need to rent a generator..... for 2-3 days to play it safe....

Home depot does rent generators @ select locations w/ RENTAL EQuipment....

This has happened to me several time. The important things are, to keep humidity down and keep the roots warm. If the roots get cold, the plant locks up into stasis. No matter of time will get them back to normal. If they are not flushed at the time, the nutes are locked in to the buds. They will not burn well. There are some exceptions, but generally this is what happens. Good luck. Peace GS

Thank you all.
I have a coco situation where I water everything by hand, so that eliminates the scheduled feeding situation. It is only the light, humidifyer and everything that powers of the electricity in a non-scheduled environment.

So two days of no light? Plants will be fine. I have it happen to me where bulbs blow and I dont check for 3-4 days. Just resume your normal photo period.

You have no other choice anyway. Total darkness is much better then light disturbance during lights out.

Youll be just fine.

What I'd like to know is: Why the fuck is an Elec. Co. doing shutting off power to whole areas for 2 whole days?????...seems to me that certain people at home with in-home medical equipment keeping them alive are really gonna be screwed..

Bummer!

Bummer!

Gonna have to run something for 2days . the fridge? Tv? Thats gonna be one boring, big ass head-ache. I mean a rental tool place would have a generator. Might kick the ole wallet in the ass too. Yeah ^^^^^what BGjr said. 2 days seems quite long for a Electric Co., unless its a backwoods type of thing >
good luck man!:comfort: City people would be calling, ringing them off hook with complaints. But probably best to just let it happen.
