I can't even smoke the goat, so yes its very damaging. I have a full on sinus allergy attic handling goat. I don't think growing it is in my best interest. Death Star is more potent anyway.
I'm going to set the blumats to drip between 150-200mbar. I haven't got around to it yet. I use a hose and pump and I only have to water every few days if that.
I pulled 9.5lbs off 8 lights, 6.7lbs from 4. Half the room was stressed plants.

Can you take an IR temp gun reading of what it is on one of your leaves at the average canopy height and the top?
Right now it's sitting between 79 and 82F, with an ambient temp of 86F. I went around the room yesterday taking temps. I have a 24k btu split on the way to replace the wall unit.
When you get your ambient temp down ten degrees and match the leaf temp your bag appeal will blow up!
That is interesting. So basically you are reducing respiration...or am I missing something?

I have ambient temps down to 82F, they should get lower once I get the split installed.. I took the ballasts out of the room.

Thanks Smokin, I'm pretty happy, but I know I can easily double my yields. That's not just 10-20% more, ya know? Especially with the way the market it going, I'm gonna need to be more efficient just to make it through the next year.
Dude it was bone chilling cold for a while. Now its just normal cold. All of my plants are showing signs of VPD problems. The humidity dropped below 20% for a few days with the polar winds taking all the moisture out of the air. I went from 5 dics fogging to 10 brand new ones, and that's only enough to get me to 50% RH. I just received a 10 disc fogger to double up, but I didn't realize it didn't come with a power supply, so now I'm waiting on that. Hopefully the plants are going to recover at 50% anyway.

Bobble, this may have been answered somewhere in this thread, so excuse my ignorance here ... but how much volume are you humidifying with 20 freaking fogger discs? I know you only have 10 right now, but my 5 disc fogger raises the humidity in my <1200ft^3 grow area by 10% in a minute or two, and that's with temps in the low 80's. You must have a much, much larger area to humidify than I do. Remember, I have those angled ceilings which cuts out a bunch of air volume in my grow area.
I'm really sorry to hear about your troubles, man, I really, really am ... but I've got to say, it made me feel a WHOOOLE lot better about my grow to hear that you're having the same problems right now. Mine got hit really hard right when I put my humidifier in, before I got my float valve hooked up, and I fogged out all 3.5gal overnight. Not as bad as last round, but still much worse than I'd like. False sense of confidence, I guess.
Also, what do you consider "recovered" from VPD issues? Do you let them grow out until all damaged leaves have been replaced before you flower them, or do you just give it until you see some healthy new growth and call it good? I wrestled with starting flowering so soon after having issues, but new growth seems fine, and my plants are a good size, so I went with it.

my new 10 disc fogger is rated for 3000mL an hour. So if I'm putting 6L in the air that's about 1.5 gallons. I have a wall mount ac that sucks air out of my room, 5 tons of ac, and 9kw of open fixture lighting. I'm gonna replace the wall unit with a mini split, and up the lights to 10kw. I have a 10'x20'x7.5' room.
As far as recovered... signs of healthy new growth are the bare minimum. I'd prefer to let them grow out a few inches, put out some nodes. Right now I'll settle for healthy new growth cause the plants are getting big!

Yep, that's right where I am. I didn't want to have to hack them back too much, although I did do a little of that. It'll be interesting to compare our grows this round since we're kind of in the same boat here.
I gather the significant difference between our grow areas isn't necessarily volume, it's raw power. You have way more lights and a way bigger a/c. That explains it. When I'm ready to ditch the reflectors I'll take that into account and get some more fog ready before I make the switch. Thanks, man!

Mega, we have about 8 different machines mining at my office as well...did you build a custom miner using high end graphics cards? We got some boards from a guy about 8 months ago for $700 a piece that sit a high end processor and are water cooled.....dudes sellin same boards for $7000 a piece now
