Aspirin for plant immune booster

Yo Priznn. The fan on my little space heater was not powerful enough to duct its output. I used an old 6" centrifugal fan on a speed controller to give it a little help. I then used 6" flex duct to pump the heat into the tent.

I also have an 8x8 tent I have heated up before. I know it could get over 100F with 4x600s and no AC during the winter. You might need to experiment with the right number of lights, heaters, and fans to get up to 120 and hold it for an hour.

It took me a couple tries to get something rigged up that can superheat the space consistently, but now it's really easy. I'm going to give my third heat treatment today and I should be able to pull my current crop through to harvest.

I just finished up the Cherry Pie in my last grow. Definitely some sweet smoke. Good luck man!

Yes, it takes some trial & error to get temps dialed in, but once you get it, it becomes simple. Just turn the heat on once a week or so if you still have mites coming into your room from outside, or from your environment, ducting, etc.
Just don't have fans blowing hot air directly on plants, as that may burn them a bit. That's another reason to raise your plants off the floor as much as possible. You can have your fan blowing air under the plants to get circulation. I use milk crates, upside down pots, cinder blocks and boards, or a table...anything to raise plants off the floor, as heat rises, and the coldest temps will be on the floor.
When you start over, scope plants carefully DAILY, and continue to scope throughout grow, because these mites have a way of coming back. And start your plants with aspirin from the get go, as this mitigates the poison the mites inject if more get in the room. Even a small number of mites can damage plants due to the poison. Damage is not caused by these microscopic devils by eating the plant. They are too small to consume much, but their poison is nasty and lingers.
A good scope is your best friend when dealing with these tiny monsters.

I'm under the weather boys... no energy to do anything this weekend. I have this duraflame space heater and i'm sure if it has a auto shut off? I let it run in the bathroom for a while and got it up to 103 before wife plugged in hair dryer and poped breaker. So going to try again this morning.

Retro if i start using the heat treatment weekly, is there a reason to scope? Figured if the heat is doing its thing should be all good? Can never be too cautious i suppose. Just so i'm clear on the Aspirin... If i have 30gal rez...30 pills right? When i top off.. say 5 gals add 5 more pills? That's what i was doing before the balls showed up.

You should always scope to know what you are dealing with. Flying blind is not a good idea. No need to treat if there are no mites, but in all likelihood, they will be back, so imperative to stay on top of it and scope daily or regularly. Scoping is not hard if you get a good scope.
Aspirin: one tablet per gallon.

Got the heat to 120 plus for several hours 3 days apart. The floor of the tent only reached 100 tho... will a strong bleach spray on floor kill these things?

Are you seeing improvement? Did you get a scope?
Don't know about bleach.....
Retro, i trashed the last batch and heating as a preventative. I Have a friend with some cuts he took that are suppose to be broad free. Will be inspecting once i receive. Would i be better off spraying avid on the floor or bomb the room. Just can't get above 100 on the ground... 1'above its 118 though.

Yeah, if it's empty, I would bomb the room with pylon.

I take this back, I can't confirm that the yellow/blue thing was from aspirin. I was foliar spraying and giving aspirin in food/water maybe it was to much ? I stopped doing either for a few weeks and a couple plants still have this problem only not as bad.
I now believe it to be to much and spoiled humboldt honey ES which smells like straight up rum or whiskey. I used to shake the shit out of it but i believe this blocks the breathing vent hole on the cap causing it to spoil.

I was recommended to a source for clones.... EGGS!!! wow... this guy said he provides them to Harborside.. He told me he didn't "think" he had them. He said he uses DURAPLEX... along with AVID, floramite...This is exactly what we're up against at the clubs. Sadly i brought them home and scoped them. I Then called him back and he met me and gave me my dough back. Sure hope i didn't get any on my clothes!! I tossed them in the dryer hoping to cook them. I will be cracking some FEM seeds i got off the farm. I recommend anybody messing with club clones.. STAY AWAY!!!

Yup, Harborside.. in NorCal days, We'd never set foot in there. All good - 'Nuff Respect - I love what DeAngelo has done - but I ain't gonna bring whatever pest some clone producer forgot to eradicate home to my garden..

I love these hotshots here in the Midwest who buy their clones from Harborside and have em shipped here, somehow. Then they come into the Hydro shop and blame their BM infestation on plants in the shop that they brushed up against and brought bugs home. All this after months and months of denying to all who will listen that they have the Scourge in the first place.. I love the Guy who claimed He killed His whole room with an overuse of GRAVITY.. As if.

Hardly any taste, smell, frost, yield... DUDS
Do a search for "DUDS".. they're peeps that talk about it. I learned of it in the broadmite thread that was closed.

Thx. Kept hearing this on the BM threads. Had no idea what the hell you guys were talking about. Tried searchin a bit, but wasn't comin up with anything. Had a couple clones I got from a buddy do this some time back. Probly where the damn mites came from. Fuqin pain in the ass...

These Bugs are bad enough to consider starting over... Even starting over in a different place... Nightmarish. Even with the Chems, this "Hobby" is no longer fun. So hard to eradicate them all, and they can just return. BMs followed me across the country. Although some folks here obviously had them before I arrived, I may have brought some in my stuff.. Wonder how long eggs can remain dormant..? Can they withstand freezing temps..?

Now, I work in a Hydro shop, where all the house plants were infested. No one caught it until I arrived.. We threw out all the plants in the store.. So, I brought them to my re-started garden from Here. Not gonna be easy folks to grow without BM's if One works in a Grow Shop..!!!

Wash up after You go get supplies, Breddahs and Sistren..!!!

I would cook the shit out of your room. Use Aspirin from the start and scope!! Yup not so fun anymore... When you're tossing trays in the garbage it isn't fun at all. Use a clean set of clothes and shoes when entering your spot.

I have Pylon fogger on the way, and already ran my temps up to 125 for about 5 hrs 3x, 3 days apart. Cracking some fem beans right now, i will find out in a few weeks if i had any success with the treatment to my room. Everything i have read says after 2 weeks from beans sprouting, symptoms start to show. Pray to cannabis gods!!

I spent about 200 on swirkskii satchets and Neoseiulus californicus mites. Unfortunately the Neoseiulus californicus mites ay attack the swirkskiis because they're agressive. Plants were all treated with forbid, avid, sulfur, triple action neem, og biowar prior to flower. While some show a leaf curl here and there they are some of tallest, greenest indoor plants I've grown. Battling Ras with todes and og biowar foliar and root packs with previous imid applications. Just ordered some Margus and gonna order some plyon aswell.. The war never ends.
