I do coco hempy, micro grow around 28" max headroom. The
11/13 works for me because the Afghans I grow like that too.
If you just do sats, and no perpetual, you can tailor your flower
light schedule to that end.

I grow Zamaldelica by Ace and thunk by Sam. Both finish around
100-120 days. The thunk is chopped twice, first the lower smaller
buds, then a couple weeks later the top big buds come off.

The Zamaldelica finishes all at once, just like the Afghans.

Maxibloom and some other stuff in tap water.

Well, i'm pretty sure the coco isn't going to change harvest times as long as you keep the plant healthy. The more extreme the lighting the better chance of intersex plants IME; 10/14 is the middle of winter in a plants "eyes". I wouldn't run it, at least not regularly, but it may help your plants finish in a pinch.

Hi JJFranks...I run my plants in coco/3 gallon smart pots. I run with a basic Botanicare PureBlendPro regimen, throwing in a bunch of cal/mag through most of the grow - tapering in the final weeks - it seems, for some reason, that I can't use enough. I water by hand - drain to waste. I'm on an every other day thing (don't know why exactly) - the first day of the cycle is generally a full feed, the second day is less so - sometimes I top off the bucket from the day before, sometimes I add some more nutes, depending on where the plants seem to be at. In flower, I often use Bloombastic as a P/K boost to the PBP Bloom. I don't use a lot, however - generally the minimum recommended - sometimes less.
I'm not a big believer in 14 day flushes. In the final two or three weeks, I will start walking-down the nute amounts and only go to ph'd water in the last 4 to 7 days.

Looks like a solid run as always Mayan. Great yield!

Based on bud structure I would call it at a 50/50 mix of the Zamal / Golden Tiger. It still has the thai foxtailing thing, but looks more african in terms of buds. I will be very interested in what you think of this line, the high is very unique.

years. Says he sees things, blurry around edges with a light
glow.

I have been waiting for summer to come.
I have couple Zams waiting to get out.
They are already nice and bushy, but I plan to grow them right big bushes. 2 m and so on.
Accidently I left two Zams in greenhouse last autumn and they grow even I didn't water them, and what is most amazing, they didn't catch mold.(cold nights, sweaty greenhouse)
So this year I will grow them big and see how much I will have harvest
Zam is everlasting favourite in my growing tent, always have few..
They are on the Zamaldelica side phenos.Sativa like.

Holy Crap! That is a great looking plant. It looks so much like Thai, especially the leaf in that first picture:

My crazy advice would be to get rid of those other plants, whatever they are, buy the biggest pot you can find, and transplant. Better yet, dig a giant hole, fill it back in with some compost mixed in, and watch it take off. Hurry up! Do it today.

Hi Thai and idiit!! thanks for your words!...it's looking really good, but I can't get rid of the other plants, haha, they're are my beloved Flo's, all pollinated and already gifting me some seeds!! I even grew one flo4xflo5 and it's doing well right now.

This Zamaldelica looks crazy, very sativa and I'm excited to see how it will develop during flowering. All I can say right now is that's a monster plant. The only bad thing is I can't put it on my garden ;(

But I know it's an amazing specimen. I'll try to take some cuts.

I'll post more pics.

everyone can grow sativa just about anywhere.
I already posted a technique in his thread, but it seems as if most havent connected the dots yet...

if you'd top sativas once every two internodes it grows, you can restrict the size by a manyfold.
the plant will pump out a similar amount of buds, and indoors yield a lot more.
due to the astounding growth rate of zamal I think that this technique will make the zamal pump out a ridiculous amount of colas if done properly ( untill the stretch is almost done)

this means you can grow it in your garden too..

The beginning of a long search

jus remembered an old technique used for growing sativas in a flurotube setup back in the late seventies:
theseeldings were vegged up to the 3rd 4th or 5th internode, topped, and every two internodes it was topped again.
after a number of times repeating this ( up to the point were the plant would have 40 or 80 growing tops) the plants would be flipped: 2 days of darkness, after wich de clock would be set on 12 or 10 hours light every day.

the davantage is that the amount of space dedicated to above ground development would be limited, versus on groing roots,.
The plants would pump out a pretty number of evenly sized colas with ery high floral cluster density.
eventuall, due to influx of skunk and indica dominant hybrids, paired with the use og HPS bulbs, this technique was forgotten

now you are growing big zamaldica trees, with big node distance
I think you could easily grow 10times the number of budsites, all within a respectable distance from bulb.

just prune, top , an cut.
treat it opposit from how you would treat a squat indica bush
limit it , restrict it , and make it work for you.

Here's the post so people don't have to dig too deep Couple that with some lst and preferrably blue cfls and it really does work. Hps puts out too much heat and that equals stretch, floros work wonders.

yeah pure sativas + fluoros work really well together, i have used them to complement hps and we also had some zamals and hazes under only fluoros... been thinking about giving original haze (this time othaze though) another shot under fluoros (well PLLs to be exact )

Nice plants Sideshow-Bob. I am just now tasting some ZamalThai xHaze and I love this stuff. Worth the long wait and the meager harvest. The hardest part is letting it cure, it's just so seductive.

zamalthai x haze sounds like a great cross! does the haze smell/taste come through in this one? of the different zamal x nevils haze i tried none had classic haze smells, best plants for me were the "spicy" zamal pheno, preferred these ones to the mango-carrot type by far...

i hear you on the patience required for a good cure, not always easy to raise it - especially when it smells good early on
