MOSCA Tri TsiFly

This is my first attempt at Mosca seeds. Started some TsiFly beginning of November '13, just flipped to 12/12, 3 days ago. Didn't notice, until a half hour ago that she has 3 bladed leaves. not one has any more on the whole plant. I've never seen this before, anyone have similar experience? I've seen first started seeds leaves like this but they turn to the normal leaf configuration long before bloom.

EDIT: the seed was popped June 23 2013, the mother was cut and cloned.

Well if she blooms well these are sometimes good for outdoor guerrilla action. The old Wallyduck Ducksfoot is an example, grows two bladed leaves, people don't recognize the plant if they are looking for the news media style stereotypical leaves.

It's definitely a mutation, never had it happen but have seen some odd things, part of the beauty of growing from seeds.

So all of them are straight trifoliate (three fingers on the leaves)? I've never seen a big healthy plant, especially a seed do that. Only one way to find out if its a good or bad thing and your already on the right path to that answer!

yes I did say the seed was sowed in Nov 13 but I was mistaken, read across the spreadsheet wrong, it was sowed June 23, 2013. I passed on running it last grow, so this is from rooted clone. the seed plant is long gone. trifoliate!? that picture is a mirror of every leaf on the plant..

Hi Snook

I had a Shiva Shanti that grew 3 fingered leaves like that, some really nice smoke it was, the plant wanted to stay small and it's latteral branches quickly caught up to it's main stem.

Hope it turns out nice for you.
