Still doing mostly research on what strains will be best for my condition.
Quick question for someone who may be in the know. I was reading a newspaper article about a woman who first tried MMJ while in Florida on vacation. The strain was called Myakka Gold but not finding much info about it. Perhaps just a cross somewhere from the old days of Acapulco Gold?

its been some time but I have heard of Myakka gold but never tried it but it my have nothing to do w/acupoulco gold.

Myakka is the swamp area it was prob. grown in and gold.......well, its worth it weight in gold but it could be from the golden resin color.

Hugh - I have some side effects from cancer treatment. Neuropathy in my hands and feet. Hands have subsided mostly but the feet is a good day/bad day type of thing.
While in Maine doing a family thing the discussion turned to "what RX's are you taking"? Short discussion and a nephew asked if I had ever tried MMJ. Well my only experience was in college and it wasn't about medicine back then. That chat turned a not so good day into a pretty good one. However I never did get what strain it was, simply because I didn't know there was a difference. Researching has certainly opened up quite a few options that can possibly be of benefit to me.
Thus my presence here.

I find I get muscle spasm relief w/most all strains.........indica and sativa but some offer much better relief and for me I find a cut of p98 bubba kush I have works the best so far.

I also have several sativa dom plants that are almost as good but as far as pain relief goes im clueless as at my level of SCI (C5-C6) I have no pain but a few of my SCI friends have neuropathic pain and im looking to find some high cbd / cbn strains to see if that can help them.

Thanks for the info. I've also been looking at the CBD/CBN discussions in hopes of strain recommendations as well. I need a strain that is not going to hamper my day time activity, be able to get my work completed as usual. Evening is probably going to be more pain management time.

I hope to find some suitable strains that are high in CBD/CBN to buy but im not sure what try. I know the CBD Crew have high CBD strains but have not read much info on their stuff and I think Harlequin is also high CBD but ill start looking so I can decide what to get.
