The Marijuana Bowl, (aka Super Bowl)

This is so awesome!!
The 2 states that just legalized weed are playing each other in the Super Bowl, which will be known as the Marijauna Bowl for the remainder of this NFL season.

I saw on ESPN when a reporter asked Tom Brady about the legalization of weed in Colorado & the fact that they were gwan be playing there....nice move by that reporter!

Just more opportunity to bring the subject of legalization to the masses....hopefully "the powers that be" will utilize this moment to shine the light on more than just football....

It doesn't matter to me, which team wins. I just hope the pro=weed orginazations use this opportnity to use the media outlets to get the weed topic more into the nations focus....then "our" team wins.

P>S> Georgia & Florida are intorducing bills for MMJ (just a side note)

oh, you know I just got surprised

I just thought you we're calling it the marijuana bowl for fun

but now that I understand it's washington vs colorado

makes sense that the acceptance would be having a positive effect on the whole state

there will be an sales increase of about 25 percent for all food and drink vendors due to munchies and cotton mouth lol.........

This will be the year the Seahawks get their first super bowl win. :p It will be a great game though. Broncos are a pretty good team.

I actually felt sorry for the 49ers last night, some bad calls and ugly injuries in the last half. Still think the Seahawks would of won even if the calls went the other way, the 49ers started playing pretty sloppy at the end.

Bronco's are going to put the smack down on the Hawks I'm afraid. They have the best DB is football, but Peyton doesn't look like he's going to be denied this year. I don't even like the dude, but I respect his game.

The Super Doobie Bowl should be a good one.

after watchin both games i havta agrree with gramps.
hawks and broncos, wow. cheered for both teams this year and look!

manning has a bowl ring and wilson is young and looked it.

broncos executed well and maintained.

hawks first play fumble was a psychological kick in the stones and they suffered that mentality through the first half.

an interesting coincedence the two being thrown together like this.

Broncos by 9.

bwahahaha! like a DB is going to stop Lynch! An entire D line can't stop that beast! Broncos have never faced an offense like the hawks this season and the hawk's defense is the best in the NFL. Plus, the broncos defense sucked all season until the playoffs. So unless special teams or the zebras give the broncos the edge I just don't see the Hawks losing. The only reason broncos are -3 in vegas is bc Percy Harvins hasn't been officially cleared to play yet. When he is, the betting odds will go to Seattle, watch. Lastly, Peyton is a choke artist. Seattle defense is going to massacre his stats. If weather is mild, hawks by 10, if weather is bad, hawks by 17.

I would like to see the Seahawks win it, but the quarterback looked inexperienced. I'm not a fan of the mannings ...either one, but that freakazoid Peyton looks very much on his game.

Funny, weed bowl!

I watched both games closely, saw Manning in control and focused to win while the Pats seemed to flounder a bit; I then watched a closely matched battle where key bad calls by the refs steered the game in Seattle's favor. The 49'ers weren't strong enough to overcome those obstacles.

Manning won't be denied, if I were in the front office of the Broncos.......

I'd be measuring for ring sizes already :)

im saying the hawks win it by 2 td's. i dont watch a lot of football but i know enough to agree that the hawks awefense is going to split the bronco's defense all up. and not to derail this thread but why arent more people moving to washington? i hear about everyone wanting to go to colorado... i really like the way washington has set up the guidlines... keeps big business out and lets the smaller growers still thrive. ill say it again, i may eat my word but i doubt it, im loyal to cali (norcal) and really dont know what the huge fuss is all about. for me its been legal for years and prices are going back up now that lots of people have left. now...

go hawks!

you don't know squat about me billy, you don't know how many games I watched this season and you sure as heck don't know about my gaming background.

I rendered an opinion here just like you did, only I managed to do it without insulting anyone else.

If you'd bothered to sign in between last September and today and had visited the Sports & Recreation forum you'd see that I posted the Weekly Vegas Odds EVERY WEEK of the season in the running NFL thread, strictly as a courtesy to any interested readers :)

SO! It sounds like you want the job, It's not hard but you have to show up here 2-3 times each week during regular season NFL play & of course the playoffs as well to post your screen shots of the odds table, odds change & so must the info you show in your posts. I updated each weeks tables whenever there were big shifts in the odds, again, strictly for the courtesy of interested readers here.
