Brady needs some receivers bad. I know he can work with nothing, but he needs a legit #1 and 2 to compete on in the championship game.

They need some work at safety as well. And a running game that lasts more than just a couple of weeks.

sorry I missed this thread! Also I think I jinxed them by posting a pro-patriots post before the game on another forum!
Well of course the outcome sucked and I am probably in the minority in saying I hated manning (actually both of them) since they started in the NFL! But unfortunately for us, the other team was the best that day. This getting close and not winning it all is getting old, 10 years old (well since the last Superbowl if we win the next one). We are better than that, Brady is better than that (although I sometimes wonder if his mind is not elsewhere too often now and that he doesn't have the same passion for winning). I want the Seahawks to win but whatever outcome gets manning to retire quicker is what I want most.

The only point to the trout is he made a bet that New England would win and the price of the bet was the trout. At least that's how I understand it. Perhaps the guy he bet with likes trout but is a lousy fisherman?
