Consider yourselves lucky you actually have grow shops to go to, since the new laws here in my state were introduced a couple of years ago, nearly every shop has shut down or can't stock the equipment because of the laws. If I want a ballast an bulb an carbon filter I have to show 100 points of ID and expect the po-lice to shop up at any time to inspect my "Strawberry" farm.
Lucky I can drive 7hrs each way to the next state and get what I require with cash in hand I suppose, ordering from the internets isn't a viable option as most of the grow shops have to show the po-lice their customer databases because organized crime gangs order up from them with stolen CC numbers.

Just spent over $180 on part of the medium for my new 4' x 8' raised grow bed. The sided are 12" tall, and I dug down an additional 6" with the tiller and am in the process of removing that native clay soil. I gave the grow store Guy a bud each of GG4$ and OGMango. He had recently been asked if they have any Gorilla Glue clones or know where to get them.

Pretty much you get one chance if you screw up im on to the next place. I lost discount hydro last week they sent me a 30 gallon geo when I ordered a 100 gallon geo pot admitted it was their new stock girls error then re shipped me 2 65 gallon C.A.P. fabric pots quality is not good cheap didn't even know cap made fabric pots super thin and flimsy. I know most of the DH crew I was in there alot found a spot in Hollywood that beats them by 20% or price match at worse depending on what it is . DH basically dumped their bankrupted discounted cheap cap pots on me but its all good I still kept the 30 geo

C.A.P is no more. Hydro farm has taken over there line. some things where dropped some of there timers/controllers. Hydro farm does have a fabric pot called Dirt bag. So the cap bags wont be remade.

I bet.... my new guy had to put up a sign that says "NO credit....so don't even ask" he said he got hit up at least dozen times that week for a percentage of their grow if he fronts them gear lol... gotta have brass ones to ask for gear on credit imo. what kind of questions you get unc I like your sense of humor so I know you probably have some good ones.

I like going to the physical store. They give me a pallet jack with a pallet, and I just push it around and pick out whatever I want. Then they bring it out and load it in my truck for me. I got 2 of everything today

well first off the grow store is the wrong place to be asking grow questions,your typical shop employee is making like 8 bux an hours and anyone who actually knows anything is off growing,but let me tell you,there are some people that should never try to grow....after explaining what hoods and ballast were and how they work and still having people ask the same dumb question...at some point i had enough of it...

lol, a hydro store is the LAST place i'd ask for grow advice! i'm talking about, "you got any of these?" "where are these?" kinda questions. just not helpful and don't seem to know store inventory locations.

My store is owned by growers so its not bad. Its just the prices on there gear. They always talk about cannabis with me. I don't say much. They don't need to know my details. I will talk with them generally but nothing personal.....
