At what % of amber trichromes do you prefer to harvest at?
Tbh i usually dont check with a scope anymore, unless its a longer flowering strain that im unfamilar with. I usually just wait until the hairs turn orange/red/brown all over and then curl down onto the buds. I find that as soon as all the hairs turn orange/brown/red and curl, there's about 5-15% amber, depending on the strain.
If i was using a scope, in general id shoot for something like 15% Amber, 50% cloudy, 35%clear. But what i want to see, depends on the strain.
If its a mostly Sativa(NLD) strain , i wanna see maybe 30% Amber, 60% Cloudy, 10% Clear.
If its a heavy Indica(WLD) Dom, id like around 5-10% Amber, 40% Cloudy, 50-55% Clear.
