What Do You Do With The Stuff Left Over After Vaping?

Presumably the butter gets you high. So vaping doesn't remove all the psychoactive components? Any idea what cannabinoids are left over?

No not sure exactly whats left, but pretty sure the material is decarbed from the vaping. The baking she makes with it, is said to be quite strong in the community. Peace GS

When I had a little vapor bros (imitation) vape

I would keep the stuff for cooking

I never got around to using it

from what I know that stuff still has some juice left in it

Grind it into a powder and cook it into some coconut oil until it's the consistency of paste. Use this paste to fill empty gelcaps. Eat one (depending on tolerance) and you'll be high a couple hours later. How high depends on tolerance and how thoroughly vaped it was.

I forgot to say to keep the capsules refrigerated or frozen. They'll go bad at room temperature after a few days. I still have a couple hundred in the freezer from 2011 that are as strong now as when I first made them.

Good suggestion. (m314)
A couple years back, someone posted a chart depicting what cannabinoids vaporized at each temperature point. That way you could control to a degree what cannabinoids you inhaled. And you would know what cannabinoids would be left over. I'll be damned if i can find it now, though.
It's got to be in a thread about vaporizers, so I'm going to try & find it. Very useful chart.
Sorry. No worm bin.

The high from eating the vaped buds is a little sleepier and stonier compared to the high from the vaporizer. I'm sure the cannabinoid ratios are different, but THC plays a big part in both highs. At least it does in my case. I don't vape the buds til they're like burned toast since I know I won't be wasting anything.

I make a tea in a Japanese tea pot(has a removable diffuser that sits in the hot water) with the leftovers from the vape, doesn't taste the best but with a bit more honey it's definitely worth it and helps me sleep through my back pain :D

I will be honest IMO vaped stuff and reclaim have never done anything for me that makes it worth the trouble. I generally flush my reclaim down the toilet and haven't smoked/vaped buds in a good 4-5 months. I tried edibles with the reclaim but it did nothing for me, I wonder if people get the placebo effect? Anyway could just be me.

Sell it to tourist huh! Wonder how many rip offs do this? I know some of the stuff for sale in one Colorado shop appears to be shaken over a screen before it is sold. Many trichs are missing under magnification.Could you hash or oil it? Get someone straight to roll a joint of it and see what happens. Maybe it could be used for poor folks if it still has any kick left in it.

What's interesting about the chart is:
if you want only THC, you set the vaporizer @ 159C and the THC will extract, while the CBD will remain. This means that you could get the THC out of high CBD strains, and still have all the CBD left over for edibles, etc.
You control what cannabinoids you ingest by temperature.

i got a couple of jars, but the leftover stuff is so weak - after 3 rounds in the volcano most of the active ingredients are gone.
tried smoking it in a bong, but it only gives a small buzz. probably going to throw it out.

Unless you vape the hell out of the bud, there will be something left in it. Canna butter or cocnut oil are the best extraction methods I found for it.

Whether it's worth extracting depends on how scarce THC is for you. When I bought weed, I used every speck. Now that I grow my own, I'm more particular. Prime bud is for vaping, trim and popcorn buds get dry sifted using DrySiftWizard's technique. What's left after that goes into coconut oil. Leaves, stems and vaped bud get composted now.
