Vegging in Warm Light

I am about to start my second grow (three plants in a DWC 5 gallon bucket). On my first grow I used four 23W CFL lights that I simply hung around my babies. This resulted in a slow grow and small yield. But, I recently inherited a MH setup from a friend that came with this bulb:

While this is a warm light, am I better off using it in the vegging stage than my CFLs simply due to the extra lumens it puts out? I know that I could buy a cool colored blub for about $80, but I am currently unemployed and can't find a way to justify the purchase for my "hobby".:watchplant:

this is a great bulb it will take you all the way from veg through harvest
i add a 400w warm deluxe along the side of my hps lamp to get a better spectrum, i love the results i will never change until i can get one of the new gavita double ended set ups or a plasma to suplement a better spectrum

Thanks for the quick responses! I was unsure if the warm lighting would stunt their growth, but I am super excited now that I know I can use it through harvest.
