FLORAMITE 1 week into flower

I have been eating oranges any way. The essence of orange can be sprayed onto plants through blooming with no decrease in potency. Spray in the dark, when the soil is dry and shake the bud's off. I add garlic too earlier in bloom. So it's on the inside of the bud's.

I have always got rid of spider mite with tap water and a sprayer, blasting them and the eggs off of the vegetative matter down the drain. Never will I need to use such chemicals.

They should never be a problem.

I have had mites from hell, International hybrid mites from London, Amsterdam and Cali.

Tumpuh,
I don't look at it that way. For thousands of years, virtually everything grown was grown organically. After WWII that changed. The pesticide Corps. started marketing their poisons to farmers in the Ag Magazines like Farm & Ranch that my Grand Parents suscribed to, thru the county agents, etc. "You're not a dumb ole farmer, you're an Agribusinessman."

20 years later we were in a new era. And at the same time cancer rates went way up, and other shit. Now we're in a 3rd era with GMO's which means that most of our food supply is now contaminated with Round Up, which, being a non-selective herbicide was, never considered as something anyone would spray on food crops. And all the other shit our food is contaminated with is allowed based on risk/benefit.

Trouble is, the general public takes the risk. We see it in health problems of all kinds, but it's very hard to pin it on these corps, especially with their huge legal staffs and budjets.

So yeah, that contamination in the info you supplied doesn't make us keel over when we eat it, but it is affecting the overall heath of the population, especially when you add up the huge amount of contaminants that we're exposed to in the air, water, food, all kinds of products. And now they're allowed to use systemic insecticides on food crops. Well, I'm done now. -granger

As far as I can tell, you sprayed in the first week so there were not flowers there yet. Thus as long as you trim away all the sprayed leaves, there would be no topical residue in your buds. Floramite does go translaminar (only partially systemic), so I'm not sure how much of it would actually flow into the calyxes. Regardless, it has a 45 day residual activity inside the plant, so I doubt there will be much left by the end of bloom.

Spraying chemicals on a blooming plant is never a good thing, but you might be ok. If you are still worried, once you harvest it bring a sample to a club and have them test it. Most clubs will do that for a small(ish) fee. That way you will know for sure if it is safe to consume or not.

Thanks, agreed. :comfort:
Yeah I hate chemicals in general and avoid them at all *almost* all costs...
