next time dont put so much in at one time,you may not have extracted it all if the material was too tightly packed...the best tincs i have had were made with buds that hadnt been ground up,the just soaked them in everclear for a few months,but that one of those things i have not had that many times....after trying this bho i can say its nice,but its too hard on the lungs for me,not something i will do frequently...

I didn't pack it in there but I can see how being ground there's less room for the everclear overall but I was hoping the surface to mass ratio was helped by grinding. Idk maybe I'll keep some around to compare against a cpl methods. Still have trim for a dry ice run too! Still have only had BHO once and I could def see it in the repertoire , but I just love the taste and smoke from good flowers, def hits hard!

Anyone know what prices/amts tinctures go for? I think my everclear based GG tinc is about ready and I'd like to tell the giftees what there getting

30-60 bucks an oz, depending on quality.

I seriously fracking need to come to the states I tell ya, as great as my island home is, the laws here are just fracked and the dickheads in power are never going to allow any sort of Marijuana and it's by products to be available to sick people or people in pain.
I think half the reason is Australia has one of the best climates ever for growing and the plants would just take over

Morning everyone! Finally done chopping, trimming, and jarring all the top nugs. Dropped the light down about a foot to finish off everything at screen level!

So far im sitting at 12ounces with a TON of quarter size buds to still take down. Im guessing i should hit the # mark without much trouble....

By far my best run in regards to yield and more importantly quality. A big thank you to everyone in here, as this is your work as well. Couldnt have done it without ya!

Have 4 replacements ready to get flipped in about 1.5 weeks after the remaining stuff gets taken

i really dont know when it comes right down to it,i just like smoking buds,even bubble is too much for me sometimes...

I find it better when i mix it with bud . oils i just spread on a paper or put a drop or 2 on a bud in the bowl & it smoothes it out enough that i'm not chocking up a lung .

ah yes,good old coffee,dont know what i would do without you....

seem to be getting my coffee strength dialed in again,been making it way too strong and just end up with the jitters...i may have to resort to measuring or something....heaven forbid! i was a chef for many years,never learned how to measure,thats for bakers...

ah bugger,trying to get out for a ride but im out of phone minutes and the white flies are starting to piss me off so time to step it up and spray something...any suggestions on killing whiteflies would be appreciated...

Can't help ya with the flies Unc .... never had them . but i need to grab a couple doses of avid to have here , got some cuts coming in in the next couple days & i don't need a mite problem again lol
gonna build an isolation chamber out of a 18 gallon tote to keep them in . should help with the humidity too if i keep it sealed .

im out of neem and azamax or trol or whatever it is anyway,i know they have an sns product there and i do have a can of doctor doom i know that will kill the adults and i think h2o2 will take care of the eggs....need to do some reading i guess....

I could go by raw Amt of bud used but I didn't weigh or count, I just kept putting buds in my grinder until I had a wide mouth half pint jar filled 3/4 of the way and topped with ground sugar trim..... I do know a half pint can hold a damn good Amt of ground material that's been thru the grinder

Alcohol also extracts unwanted stuff from greenmatter. My best extracts start with sift only. Are You Carburizing it too?

Whiteflies are a mutherfucker Unc.....Gotta attack em with a vengeance cuz they shit "honewdew/sap" on the plants that looks like "trich globules" and it`s nasty ass whitefly shit.....

Not many cure alls without switchin poisons to keep em from getting immune to each separate application.....Google remedies and see if anything new has come up on the horizon in the last few yrs....

Had a close Grobro in Fl back several yrs ago that fought em for a solid yr after tearin down and sterilizin shit left and right with every damn supposed cure there was , and finally by Godf he up and moved and left it with the bastards.......

Spinosad , Azamax , Azatrol , Hell....even BTI for fungus gnats with little to no response after re-hatchings of larvae that NO ovocide affected to kill eggs....

Nasty lil fucks whiteflies they are.....Good luck Bro....

Unc: Im thinking it was Spinosad I sprayed for white flies. You might look that one up. What ever I sprayed, it worked.

Ive had a slight mite problem this winter. I brought them inside from the yard. I noticed that when I put the 15 (Cycling out) plants outside in mid 30 degree temperatures, the mites all died, and the plants have become very healthy and lush green.

Last night under cover of darkness, I snuck the 15 plants out of the green house and placed them center yard inside the dog kennel for full sun exposure, to help with budding energy the plants need.


I still had 4 large Gorilla moms in the veg tent all this time and two of those started getting a population of mites. I snuck those two out to the green house last night and will probably take the other two out tonight. I have plenty of roots in the EZCloner now, and need to get the plants potted. The big plants may as well go outside for a mid winter/ early spring outdoor harvest.

I'm not sure about carburizing, actually not sure I understand it. I am lightly heating the jar by keeping it on the top of my t5 veg lights, and every once in a while placing it near the stove while cooking.
I think DE on the top of my mix kept my flies away, it's the damn mites that I still have. Never went with avid yet tho

I can dig that for sure. The other challenge I found was being able to meter my doses. One dab might well render me .. Less.. Able than I'd like to be, perhaps.

I picked up a vape pen a while ago, and it's frickin' lovely. Really lets you consume less/more without just eyeballing a glob on the end of a dabber.

The real trick is that the pen is SO much more convenient than getting the bubbler, getting a dab on the dabber, heating the nail, and blasting off..

With the pen, it's

1. Turn it on (click 5x)
2. Inhale
3. Repeat

its a tough one here because there a 100 frickin houseplants here as well,almost time for them to go back outside and maybe see about getting some predatory insects to let loose,almost time for the outdoor gardens to get a couple thousand ladybugs dropped on em...

ok,just stopping to grab some gatoraide and pump the shocks up a bit...off to ride,grow store was closed so no spraying today,i think i have some spinosad around but its too nice to be cooped up at home,time for a big fattie and some single track...

Thats a good place to start but i'd bump it up as high as your plants can handle. Throw in some surfactant, and emulsify a little neem and protekt if your feeling squirrely.


Those fuckers are nasty, vector all sorts of other diseases and pests.
