Something happened to Sonics cut, which was from just popping one seed. When it first was around it used to be super super fuelly. The most fuelly smoke I have ever tried. But it has now lost that and become more spicy and mellow.

mate my agent orange cut is still the same , you guys are probably running the one that was sprayed with the systemic powerdery mildew stuff which i sware changes plants but i still have the normal old cut , its so fuely like diesel and orange peel smells and tastes just like tangies ,smoked some yesterday , i am yet to find any one with a more fuely orange plant , even dr penditals are not as fuelly imo , but i did get lucky , yes it can throw out some bananas never had seeds from them and the yeild of this cut is huge , i agree though if you can get all the same tastes and smellsand loose a week or two in flowering time then its worth it but i doubt the yield would be as good on the more indica dom ones

ive had um come out spicy and mellow its either to much heat or chopped early or not enough light , it likes to be tropical and can be finicky for sure , its so fuel like its to much for most .

also in the old days orange plants were the first to loose there smells and strong traits after years of keeping the strain alive , i kind of think they def loose some tang , so may be the cut floating about has just lost its mojo , not sure why . mine is still the same i believe

Its one cuts I've always wanted mate. But never had had a chance to run it.

I've only smoked it from you originally which was super fuelly. Almost too fuelly if that's poss. And smoked from banana man. His was more spicy and virtually no fuel.

It's not been needed for a few years, but i used systhane fungus fighter on the chem d, casy and kq and saw no difference in any aspect of plant growth, turpines or potency.

Not to say some sprays don't make a difference.

But one thing I do notice on the kq is that if one if my mates who does big runs of 100 plus cuts at the same time, 90% of the kq will be identical and grow nice fat, not too stretchy colas and 10% will grow lanky and more calyxy, less yeild. Almost 1.5 times the stretch to how she normally grows.

Co-dominance or bi-generic phenotype leading to environmental epistasis do you think herbalizor?

theres nothing wrong with the agent orange at my end the ones that were sprayed with the spider mite stuff were binned and replaced with new mums from my buddy I gave them too before the incident

sonic the jacksang has very nice zesty tones to it more potent too not as big a yield as agent orange but it's not far off

tbh ive been through about four or five packs of ao and (no offence to sonic) and that cut is one of the not so good ones ive had. all the rest finish in a shorter, time like 8 or 9 weeks and are denser. I reckon that ao could go 13 easily which is long for ao.

Anybody got any idea if the deathstar cut is in the uk??

I popped some of these beans and one was male but the female has a huge thick trunk and looks like she will be a HUGE yielder, but whats the cut thats going around like then? As I have taken a cut from this one only due to how amazing she looks so far.

Edited to add these are DarkStar seeds not Deathstar but after reading about Darkstar still sounds great.
Peace

Did some of you guys grew these in the past, or is still running them? Are they heavy feeders? And when comes to finishing times and due relation with potency, any pointers?

Thanks in advance and i must say growing weed in the UK and all things related, being the friends left behind the main loss of my departure, is something that i hold very dear to my heart.

Thanks to all of you guys, you know who!

What's happening paulo, hope everything's nice in portugal?

Lots of good info on Nelly in this thread https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=243877

She can be taken at 9 weeks but take her to 10 and she will melt your face. Stinks as bad as the original cheese so carbon filters on full! She can take a heavy feed to so I say push the feed up until you see signs of her not liking it. Good yields to be had when dialled.

Peace

Thanks for the info mate. It´s all good, exciting and very labour intensive here back in Portugal. But i´m deeply enjoying it. Thanks for asking.
I hope that all goes well at your end.
I´ve run out of rep for today and that´s the reason i didn´t use it on the previous post ;)

Thanks again buddy, btw don´t you have a nice link on the Blues? ;)

Don't know much about the blues. Never knowingly smoked or seen it being a southerner. Seems to have been hoarded by northerners! ;) Only joking.

There was a load of arguing a few years ago when Verge from that UK site came on here saying no one had the proper blues cut.

Then some more drama when someone passed out a fake blues cut.

If you got it, let's hope it's fiya!

Peace

Thanks anyway. I might peak onto the other site just to have some pointers.
I will restrain myself from posting it in here because don´t want to flame things ;)

The blues is fire Piff.

The original was held by a grower for a long while....The clone was sent in a batch of cuttings unlabelled in tissue paper in video cases to the new skool.

The different varieties were propagated and only one type of 3 remained turgid and survived travel so an order was placed for the same 3 varieties.

On the next delivery day only two of the 3 types previously ordered arrived, a brief description of what was what a week before when re-ordering the cuts was given over the phone and its became clear that the sender had made a mixup and had not sent one of the varieties on this particular occasion either due to communication error on either part or lack of vegetative material, either way the main cutting wanted was sent both times from the original keeper "All the others were a gesture of kindness".

Of the 2 varieties that arrived in the second batch one of these types was already growing well and with vigour. (distinguishable by phyllotaxy)

The second batch of cuttings was rooted, cloned out and passed on to friends and flowered out by the original test grower, at this point there were still no labels, they had to be flowered to tell them apart and also be kept safe.

It soon became clear the sender was unorganised and didn't know what was gonna be the mix-up in all of this. It did cause one hell of a drama.

I have a sanction on My IC mag account from Raco for this very topic so I shan't be pushing my luck and naming names.

Just putting out the truth....

When the cuttings were showing there differences in flower labels were given to the respective varieties by the recipient of the cuttings.

When the cuttings got to the fairy there was 2 types of the 3. The 2 types passed on to the fairy would have been both plants that were passed on and had survived, at this point the cuttings were thought to be the one and the same variety by the fairy until a test grower had distinguished the different varieties.

The 'pissed off' test grower only wanted the one type to make money and didn't know that 2 different strains had been sent to the fairy and even he had no idea until this event occurred.

So, the fairy worked out he had 2 types either from the persons flowering the cuttings or by looking at them in the various threads to distinguish what was what.

The original test grower didn't know that 2 different strains had been sent to the fairy as he had only wanted the one.

So until the fairy worked out he had 2 types the persons flowering the cuttings from the fairy had 2 different types and he had yet to distinguish what was what.
