Wondering if the owners and growers of dispensaries are going to have to be mmj patients to use it or is the state going to drug test them to make sure they aren't? After all, can't have 2 sets of rule for us to follow.

Don't like the bill. Gives dispensary owners, officers, and growers protections patients don't have.
And they will now be for profit instead of non profits. Can you say over priced meds for patients?

Looks a lot like our law here in AZ. The only dispensaries that have opened here sell really bad meds for 55/380 as mentioned above.

Reasons I hate it.
1. Must have 150k in assets to apply.

2. Seems like it will be limited to 1 dispensary per county besides clark rhatbgrts10 or 40 can't remember.
3.patients and caregivers can't vend to the shops.
4. Doesn't clarify delivery services as far as I could see.

If it was like any other business where competition would be the gate keeper not government I would be all for it.

I lile that it increases patient limits but I think that's just a bait and switch pipe dream.

2 years from now, if it passes, because it will now be a for profit business, they will strip our right to grow so that the dispensaries can really capitalize. After all, can't make a lot of profit if you have patients growing there own.
Oh, fees have gone up to $20,000.00 to get the license too with the new changes to the bill.

Hasn't been voted on yet. It is in the Senate finance committee at the moment. It hasn't been acted/discussed in there yet. Once it is, there will be 1 last chance for public discussion before it is passed on to the full assembly for final votes.

You can sign up for the---Personalized Legislative Tracking

There is a free option once you sign up for the Personalized Legislative Tracking. From there you can sign in and track any bill you want updates on. It's SB 374. Unlike the other options that you can pay for, the free option will not email you when any action is taken on the bill you are tracking.

Hope that info helps.

City voted yesterday to enact a 180 day moratorium on anything cannabis. And an optional 180 day extension.

Sounds good. No disps then patients have to grow. Constitutional right to the plant and legislative recognition of ALL STATES med recs. Sounds good so far. Yet they are still trying to fuck everyone over, news at 11.
