Window A/C light leaks

Hey everybody :tiphat: Was wondering if I could get some help from you more experienced folks solving a light leak issue I have. My window A/C unit has a monstrous leak coming right through the intake vent. The spacers on the sides of the window unit I'm going to black out with Gorilla Tape.. So, I've figured that part out.
Any light trap ideas? Or some material (like a mesh?) that's black out but will allow the A/C to intake?

Remove the case and paint the inside flat black. If is styrofoam you will need to take care not to melt it with the paint. It can be done just takes time. Also use black calking to seal up any other leaks you find in there.

Thanks a lot! Really appreciate it.
