Smoking on some Charas

Howdy folks :tiphat:

It's been a while!

I got a lovely present in the mail today and thought I'd share it all with the good people of ICMag.

This is a small sample of Charas I recently got a hold of and have been enjoying. The appearence, whilst it does not come across too well over a photo, is much closer to frozen iso-hash than what you might typically associate with pollen/trich hash. The tacky, sticky feel is certainly there.

The smoke is downright lovely. A very warming, relaxing sensation with plenty of smoke billowing from the pipe/spliff. The taste is none too harsh, though a bit of a taste from the plant matter comes through. The hash taste is there but is more of a subtle tone than anything overpowering, melding itself with something closer to chocolate. The effect is fairly uplifting and I feel pretty chilled now about half an hour later.

Overall:

Appearance: 9/10 I'm not much of a hash person unless I've made it myself but damn I am impressed by this.
Taste: 7/10 Not quite as obvious as I'd like it but nice none the less.
Smoke: 10/10 Burns like a charm, satisfying drags. I include this as I generally have a harder time smoking hash smoothly.
High: 8/10 Subtle at first but very enjoyable once it takes effect.

Nice man, These Highland cultivators that the charas is made from are very hardy and resinous strains. Glad to see you can enjoy some of the old world hash!

charas is not a cultivar or strain it is hash collected by a method of hand rubbing the plants then collecting it from your hands or a general term for hash from the region of india, nepal of the himmalayan mountains
