I've been researching the stinkiest strain without much avail, then I saw another similar post asking for a line on the least stinky weed. Now, I thought that was just silly, but after digging and looking, I found that people once thought stinky weed was no good. My, how times change. So.... what is the stinkiest weed out there? While I'm looking for skunk, I'll take anything, as long as it's really strong on the aroma.

Sour diesel is one of the strongest smelling newer strains I have come across.

I haven't seen a legit skunk smelling strain since the early 90's.

I'm with Ron .... look into the Diesels . I'd say Gorilla Glue #4 , but unless ya know somebody ... its a lost cause , cuz there are no seeds out of her yet . there will be some crosses of it out pretty soon though .

And I Hav scraped up dead skunks to cover smellz.

The glue is only "creamy baby farts" how bad can that be??? Do I need to start tossin diapers out by the mailbox?

Although I enjoyed smoking Skunk way back when, I've never understood why anyone would WANT that aroma. The damn stuff always seemed like a sure bust to me - even a jar didn't seem to contain it. It would be an interesting test of a carbon filter, though.

ok we will first need some clarity on what you mean by stinky weed? cuz sour diesel and stinky are not two terms i would have placed together.

do you mean stinky as in the distance the smell carries, or stinky as in it smells noxious like burning tires or garbage and skunk spray and shit like ...actual shit.

if you mean which weed have i had that i would never leave the house with a little in a plastic bag anymore? i would have to give it to g13. man you can smell that shit a block away. which one has the most repugnant smell? i would have to say some hybrid bagseed i grew a long time ago. one of my first grows actually. i called it lemon puke. still remember the smell, it was absolutely nauseating. smelled just like the name, lemons on top of a nice amount of fresh vomit. i don't think i finished it out.

This is going to be for one specific strain. One plant, 12" x 14" x 36". One big industrial charcoal filter. The filter is 4.5" thick the size of the entire cabinet. I have less drastic desires for my other needs. Oh... look what's on sale!

once in AMS i bought 3 g of barney's LSD - it stank up the whole tram. out of consideration towards others my next stop was albert hein's to get some tupperware to tame the beast.

next visit, bought lsd again - totally different - no excessive smell, high not as nice.

I'm a BIG fan of Dutch growns work , i have grown quite a bit of it ..... but the LT isn't a stanky plant . shes more sweet & tastes like a fine wine , but the potentcy just isn't there for me .

WHAT?! I just bought a new brand of filter specifically because the sour d was overpowering my old one even though it wasn't old and worked fine for all my other plants. put a sack in your pocket and the world will know you have it

Exodus cheese will melt two carbon filters in unison, that is the original 'Skunk" smell………… everybody knows what you got in your pocket. I would say stronger than the diesels…

Better watch with the dieslehazes .... They can easy out grow ur space 12x14x36.... Stretchy genetics like those I would have to see the pheno first before tossin it in there. A single plant from seed , ya may have ya hands full... But it can be done, one of my first grows was in a space that size skunk haze and a lesson learned I wouldn't do it...As for stank stank there's all ends of spectrum ... U want sumthin stank and pungent not to much stretch a nice trainwreck cross to an indica type will fit and tw is notorious for passin the tw stank on its offspring.... Also a dielse/kush/chem cross headband and cheese was another good suggestion......

Anything is the chemdog family for sure. The Deadhead OG that I have is the smelliest shit I have ever come across. Skunks ass all over the place. Can't leave it in the car, can't smoke it riding around. Shit I can't even open my jar without making the whole end of my house smelling. Pineapple Chunk and LSD from barney's are another two that skunk out where ever it is.

yeah some of the chem and sd crosses that get that intense garlic skunk diesel smell would probably be what i would say was the most stinky/skunky once grown and dried i can think of..

when people say skunk though i first think dutch skunk #1 which doesn't smell like what i call a skunky which is hard to describe but it's the smell i think most people associate with good ganja.. a sugary/earthy/gravy/rich sort of planty smell..

sometimes i smell it outside, away from any ganja, on certain hot but well watered days in summer and it's the combined scent of thousands of plants breathing out a similar funk..

in grow though most things i grow stink to high heaven with skunky smells and any aroma or fragrance you/i can imagine, i'd struggle to pick between them..

Chemdawg strains (OGs, diesels, headbands, GSC, etc.), ingrid, uk cheese, skunk, train wreck, and jack herer are some of the first strains that arise in my mind when i think of stinkiest varieties of ganja.

I once bought a bag of skunk I kept in a ziplock bag inside a glass jar inside a refrigerator out in the garage and you could still smell it in the house

not sure if cvs still has it available but their la affair has produced an og dominant pheno we have that is the stinkiest stuff I've had in a few years, swampier and more putrid than the sour d. we've been calling it sex panther like the cologne off anchorman, the smell of desire baby lol:

I did smoke a very stinky Great White Shark several years ago...
A cutting from Barcelona; I did get a cutting an put it outdoors guerrilla.
Never harvested, was stolen, really stinky...
The smell/taste was kind of acrid (acid&sour).

I know what I'm in for. I grew skunk for a few years in the 80s. After a neighbor ask if I had a skunk in the wood pile, I switched to hash plant. Thing is, when cancer comes, you don't care as much. If I have problems, I'll tone it down. Just want enough to give me another strain to play with.
