Good evening y'all.....just recovering from that global warming here. 44 deg and a slight rain...in the 60's this weekend.

Looking good Lotus, enjoy the fruits of your labor now.

whats the difference in nail material?

I'm not a total connoisseur, but I like the way the Titanium nails are sort of bowl-shaped. I've used glass nails in the past where they seem sort of convex. I feel like the bowl shape seems to sort of hold the wax better while it simmers, whereas I've pulled the glass nail out of the piece before and it's just coated with goop, on the underside and all the way down.

:dunno:

I'm also wondering whether the Titanium has better thermal qualities..?

Either-or, tomato tomahhhto, I'm sure. :)

Sharp lookin' piece! Clean too! Same can't be said about mine.. :)

(Neither can, actually!)

i was wondering if the nail was going to be harder to clean than just a regular resin gunked piece...
i was just going to get the nail and dome piece plus an adapter so it would work with one of my current pieces but then i saw that piece with the dabbing tool so i said fuck it,got a good price since he threw in the ashcatcher i was actually there to get...considering how big my glass collection is getting i have only broken one 40 dollar ash catcher in the last couple years...

there you go,the advantage to having a glass problem,i have so many bowls i can leave those to soak in simple green and then rinse them clean and the main pieces and ash catchers i never use for more than a day so it takes seconds to get them clean with iso and salt....i do burn through shitloads of iso and salt here...

If i had a nice bong or some expensive glass pieces ...i might clean them . but the cheap spoons i buy , fukit !!! i never clean them . i have a poker that i use to clean out the resin once in awhile . but if they get plugged up , i stick them in a drawer & buy a new one .
like the new one i picked up today for 11$

but most of these are spent :)

got a set of spd pedals for the camber today
Shimano-PD-M324-pedals.jpg

only has the cleat on one side so i can click out and flip the pedal over before parts i want a foot free for,im also looking for knee pads and elbow pads...not because im a rad rider, but because i tend to fall over a lot! its always low speed accidents i tend to have, just lose inertia and cant get a foot free than boop! over i go,but in some of the places i go its seriously rocky so even a simple fall could hurt me bad enough i couldnt ride...not good...

new set of road bike handlebars to,same thing, just 2 cm wider, doest sound like much but i have a torn rotator cuff in one shoulder and the current bars turn my arms inward too far,not anything i noticed still i started riding for 3-4 hours in one shot...that and a new saddle and the road bike should be set, only about 120 in all to get it better fitted to me,not bad...

got the rest of the clones and seedlings up potted, some of them took a beating so pics in a few days when they de-skank themselves...

The Vapor swing gets a little dirty.. The TI pad turns a dark color from repeated heating. There is never any ash or contamination on the pad that I have noticed. It's completely vaporized away.. Inside the tube will have a thin layer of oil over time. All the cleaning methods mentioned work. I do have a hard time getting certain area's spotless in one cleaning session. My in-line ash catcher has a coil in it. there are parts on it that cant be reached. In this case I have to leave it soak over night to get it all.

Just finished cleaning the Cloners out. There both ready to go but for now im only using the 36 site. The 25 is off for now.I should start seeing prolific root growth in a few days :)

Mornin Unc Jw & crew :coffee:

back to work today .... got a couple days work there yet so .....
should be a really nice store when its done ! looks like a construction site right now , but that hasn't stopped people from coming in .

the GG & 818's come down this weekend :dance013: GG should be a good harvest . i did 2 in 3 1/2 gallon hempys to see if it ups the yield from the 2 gallons ... & there looks to be alot more there than usual :)

the 818's will just get a fan leaf pluckin & then thrown in a bin to dry out & turned into hash . i'm not spending 2 to 3 hrs on each plant trimming if its not worth the big bucks .

2nd crisis averted this week. Had two different water lines freeze with the big chill that rolled through here. One was a line going to a toilet and one was a boiler line going to a baseboard heater.

Neither copper burst though. Got the toilet line myself but the boiler line just cost a few hundred to have done by my hvac guy. Was preparing for a mess and opening drywall so I got off easy.

Lots and lots of burst water lines around here this week.

Feeling lucky!!!

Happy Friday Everyone! I dont know about you guys, but i seriously HATE trimming. I can only go for about 2.5 hrs at a time before i need a break....and thats with some wicked metal blasting and never ending coors lights!

Whats the secret?

After yrs and yrs of bein a 1 man show and havin to trim repeatedly with perpetual setups , I started getting rid of everything that need trimmed BEFORE chop , except the sugar leaves.....but....

I only ran hybrids that stacked colas , not leafy ass indica dominant species , so for those types there is no secret but perseverance and time.....

More Coors Light and dope TWL.....Unc...wanted ta stop in and show some respect for your time and effort with a killer thread.....Try and keep all these "Glueheads" in line if yas can.....:moon:.....

Peace.....DHF......:ying:.....

Actually we are all here to keep Unc in line

Im glad you didnt have bursted pipes inside your walls 3rd. You dodged a bullet there.

I think Id run some heat tape and insulation on exposed incoming water pipes, if I lived in a colder part of the country. Cant do much about boiler pipes though, except keep it boiling so it cant freeze.

I must have eaten 3 cookies last night. I fell asleep on the sofa for 4 hours, went up to bed and passed out for another 8 hours. GG4$ makes great cookies. perfect for pain and insomnia.

I had a hit of OGMango, and a hit of Mangla x LAX. Oh yeah, a hit of LAX3 too. Time to rake leaves, saw firewood, and mow both lawns. See You in a bit

third...
when we had our once in a century freeze here a few years ago you couldnt find copper pipe to save your life a day later, first garden chore this spring is getting my fricking hose bibs replaced so i dont have to try and hand water this summer....screw that shit....

lotus....
a comfortable chair, good posture and a good trim tray make a difference.myself,i like to dry trim after hanging the whole plant,i personally find it much easier and faster.....and it helps to have 2/3 of the room devoted to gorilla glue since its retardedly easy to trim...

DHF....
all i do is start these threads, its the people who participate that make the threads special,it really has very little to do with me since i mainly just mutter about stuff no one else cares about that much...you know, the crazy uncle no one likes to talk about?
