I hate the taste just about makes me throw up. then I started water curing first. I use cold water and dump it a few times till its mostly clear. I pour it out slowly and not all the way so as not to loose any trichomes. result is way better for me

I use similar methods to make butter. Primary difference being I like to keef my trim or make oil first, then melt it into the butter .

no i haven't... like i said, i don't mind the taste of ganja in my butter and haven't had many complaints at all about flavor.
but i have been "cleaning" my butter with a different technique; after the butter and water separate in the inverted jars, pour off extra water, then immediately add back HOT water to the jar, let the butter and HOT water mix togther again, sometimes i put the submerge jars of h20&green butter in a pot of water on the stove... helps to melt the two together, butter must completely melt into a liquid and mix with hot water... then invert the jars again, let the mixture cool down and once again the butter and water will separate.
When you drain off the water the second time the butter will be slightly less green and have less "ganja flavor".
you can repeat this process over and over, separating h20 & butter then re-adding hot water, remixing the two in the jar, and re-sepparating again, untill the removed water is completely clear and odorless...
process is very similar to water curing flowers, just kinda doing the same thing with the butter.

agreed, altho i avoid adding any kind of solvent made extract into edibles... I don't mind smoking a lil extra tane fumes, but wouldn't want to eat even residual amounts of tane, iso, or any solvent.... call me picky.

lately i've been making... "logs"

melt chocolate and butter together,
stir in nuts, dried fruits, and oatmeal untill you have a thick moldable consistency,
put the mixture on a large peice of parchment paper, roll it up like a joint into a log shape, toss in the fridge or freezer for long term storage,
slice off a lil bit and eat it.

on the other hand
a recent friend of mine (double kindness on the forums) makes the DANKest ganja gelato i've ever had, prolly the dankes gelato at all i've ever had.... strawberry balsamic flavor..... raspberry.... caramel chocolate bacon gelato..... AND ganja bacon caramels!!!!
altho those treats are all made differently.... hash oil instead of butter.
