I am sure extraterrestrial life exist , we cant be all that is out there. However this guy sounds insane and I can't believe this went on 26 minutes. I made it until 10 minutes in and I couldn't handle anymore. What a waste of time. That is the dumbest video I have watched since I saw that stupid mermaid mockumentary.

we cant rationalize space travel in an earth like way. I don't believe ET's advanced enough to travel through space would do it like we would sail a ship across the ocean.

For all we know ET's have been charting the cosmos for thousands of years and travel thru portals, black holes, ripples in time etc...kind of like how a modern mariner would travel thru the Panama Canal.

Either that or I believe possibly they could be highly evolved humanoid creatures from earth's future that have developed the ability to time travel.

In a way the present and the future exist at the same time, so maybe 100 years into our future we will make a discovery that could spawn the abilty to travel thru time 5000 years further into the future. Kind of how Einstein brought his discoveries to his time but could never imagine the hadron collider, but the hadron collider could have never existed without Einstein's theories.

well, this video was pretty earth based, but it gives a good idea about the distances just to our nearest star, and its informative, if you guys like science and stuff like this check out vsauce on youtube

trust me mate, i been believing in ufo stories and all that when i was younger and less wise, but when i started study the science that is related it changed my view totally on the subject

im 100 % sure that there must be living organisms somewhere out there, if its intelligent or have the luck to ever become, no one can tell, but before i have indisputable evidence about them even existing and even more unlikely them space traveling its all bullshit imo

i been studying space travel, time travel, wormholes black holes everything that we know about our universe, i have seen all seasons of the universe, through the wormhole, cosmos, and most of the things alike

and the more i study, less likely i find it that we will ever have contact with anything other than micro organisms in our own solar system

aliens might have advanced technology, but the universe still has limits

example, aliens might have 1 million times better telescopes than us, but light travels at a fixed speed, so if they are 5 billion light years away and look our way, they will see a giant star where our solar system is today

its also very unlikely that alien civilizations have been around for millions of years, the universe is a dangerous place, you cant even count to how many factors that could wipe us out if they changed just a tiny bit

comets, radiation, solar flares, rays, supernovas and a billion other things that could make a end to any civilization no mather their technology in a split second

up to 98 % of earths species and total life been wiped out several times in our short time span

everything is just against it, so until you see some real prove don't believe in anything, specially not this old lying faggot that is making allot of money selling books and running government agendas

Of course there is other life in the universe, but I'm sorry, there's no way 80 species of alien came unfathomable distances to give us Kevlar vests and LEDs. I can always count on a Canadian to crack me up ;-)

isn't BOG an alien?

 For sure.:)

You guys forget about Star Track. Everything from that movie has or will come true. When they hit their chest to activate a "cell phone" type devise, teleporting matter, (which science has been able to do with very small amounts of matter) phasers your can set to stun, lazer guns, ext.

Remember that the aliens had been watching for a very long time, but were not intervening because of the "prime directive."

Maybe humans haven't evolved past a cockroach in an intergalactic scale. Maybe the aliens themselves created humans, being the missing link science talks about from ape to human. Maybe they will reveal themselves when we become a Class 2 civilization. (if you don't know what that is, watch this video. It's fascinating. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pj_UKcBBScc)

Whatever it is, I think the people that don't believe in alien life are fools. However, 80 different species on earth doesn't sound right either. Only time will tell, and time is infinite.

One must also keep in mind that Canadians tend to take innumerable blows to the head from flying hockey pucks.
The fact that they get hired by the Govt. is immaterial.

Well, just to clarify: I just posted a link to an article/video. I didn't write/film it. I don't agree with all the stuff this guy says, but thought it was interesting, and threw it out there for discussion. I have read quite a bit about UFOs and possible alien intervention on our planet, and the testimonials of many who claim to have seen them, going back for ages. Apparently, some people got very upset about it. The member "foomar" gave me negative rep twice, for unknown reasons. Not "unhelpful", but negative rep, yet he doesn't comment or show his face in the thread. Maybe he's a creationist. Anyway, what a douche!
The universe is infinite, and what we know is positively dwarfed by what we don't know or see. If you told a person from ancient times that we would be orbiting the "not flat" earth in space ships, they would probably have you executed for witchcraft. Galileo, probably the most brilliant man ever and many centuries ahead of his time, was accused twice of heresy by the church for his beliefs. The Galileo affair was a sequence of events, beginning around 1610, during which Galileo Galilei came into conflict with the Catholic Church over his support of Copernican astronomy.
In 1610, Galileo published his Sidereus Nuncius (Starry Messenger), describing the surprising observations that he had made with the new telescope, namely the phases of Venus and the Galilean moons of Jupiter. He went on to propose a theory of tides in 1616, and of comets in 1619. He argued that the tides were evidence for the motion of the Earth, and promoted the heliocentric theory of Nicolaus Copernicus (published in De revolutionibus orbium coelestium in 1543).
Following mounting controversy over theology, astronomy and philosophy, the Roman Inquisition tried Galileo in 1633 and found him "gravely suspect of heresy", sentencing him to indefinite imprisonment. This was subsequently commuted to house arrest, under which he remained for the rest of his life. People have always been persecuted for their beliefs, if they conflict with the popular superstitions of the day. Creationists today reject the notion that dinosaurs existed, since they know for a fact that the world was created 6000 years ago, and any scientific proof that they are mistaken is dismissed by them.
I'm fully aware that the Canadian dude is talking a lot of "shit", but that does not mean that the underlying hypothesis is wrong or impossible.
We know so little about what is really going on, and what is illusion.

Well, this is for "foomar", the double neg repper:
UFO spotted in Berkshire skies leaves investigators baffled:

http://www.theweek.co.uk/uk-news/56...es-leaves-investigators-baffled#ixzz2pw5RjsPd

"AVIATION authorities have been left baffled after a UFO in the shape of a rugby ball reportedly passed within a few feet of a passenger jet near Heathrow Airport.

A pilot on the A320 Airbus reported the near miss to air traffic controllers, prompting an investigation. However, no one has been able to identify the object.

The aircraft was cruising at 34,000ft, around 20 miles west of Heathrow Airport, over the Berkshire countryside, when the captain spotted the object out of a left-hand side cockpit window.

It was said to be "cigar/rugby ball like" in shape, bright silver and "metallic" and travelling towards the jet. The pilot said he felt certain it was going to crash into his aircraft and ducked as it headed towards him, but it did not appear to make impact. He told investigators he believed the object passed "within a few feet" above the jet.

The sighting occurred in daylight, at around 6.35pm on 13 July last year". It has only emerged now, following publication of the report, which concluded it was "not possible to trace the object or determine the likely cause of the sighting". The incident was investigated by the UK Airprox Board, which studies "near misses" involving aircraft in British airspace. It ruled out other aircraft, meteorological balloons, toy balloons and military objects.

The report does not name the airline or flight involved, but the Daily Telegraph says the aircraft was likely to have been travelling between a regional UK airport and another in Europe. The A320 Airbus typically carries around 150 passengers.

Aviation staff detect around one unexplained flying object every month, according to figures from the National Air Traffic Control Services in 2012. The Ministry of Defence closed its UFO desk in December 2009, after which the Civil Aviation Authority decided to look into such reports from aircrew and air traffic controllers."

Foomar the Triple Neggar sounds cooler.

If I see a post which stands out for its quality I will often give it a positive rating.

If I chance apon a post which shows exceptional naïve stupidity I sometimes give it a neg.

Simples.

Foomar is an alien.

He's probably sneaking up on you right now.

There's alien douchebags?
Apparently so, as foomar is stalking me now along with his alternate ID. Hard to believe that someone is so petty, and has nothing better to do than give me three neg reps on a whimsical post. Someone hasn't gotten laid in a long time....FU foomar. Get a room with your fanboy, and let some of that tension go. You are the king of pettiness.
Congratulations.

I think you & bill cooper should get a room, and get rid of some of that negative energy, but no arguing about who's going to be on top. Take turns. :moon:
Also, England needs to tighten up it's immigration laws....

Here is one for you...
Guy goes out on a day hunting trip while working on a large northern construction project....

He comes back with radiation burns and a story about UFO's 24hours later...
Nothing locally could give him the radiation burns he recieved...
He wasn't into drugs, a non-drinker (the odd social drink), and a family man...loved the outdoors...very GROUNDED...

DR's were stumped....Nothing on the jobsite could do it....pretty wierd shit...even for the 70's...

My dad was friends with the guy, and said the look in his eyes when people would ask him about it was enough...He didn't want attention...he had true fear in his eyes according to Dad....and generally refused to talk about it.

Kinda spooky

So i'm a fan boy because i happen to agree that you talk utter pish Retro ,grow up you gullible fool :moon: if you can't take a bit neg rep maybe you need to wait till your older to post on a public forum especially if your going to keep believing in stuff that is obviously nonsense to anyone with the slightest bit of common sense :spanky:

The Vatican has made comments that if extraterrestrials do exist they would be creatures without original sin, so they'd be like gods.

Also, the Vatican owns some of the most powerful telescopes and observatories in the World. I believe if anyone knows the truth it is them but it is their job to keep the information a secret.

everyone is missing the obvious ANYTHING not of this world comes from space

read the bible in the right context and you will discern that the context for angels and the such is that they ARE extra terrestrials

to most of these texts, the bible, the lotus sutra, the torah, the koran etc and so forth have layered meanings to their words so more than one interpretation can be made

this can lead certain people to understanding and it can repel others but there are only a limited number of reactions as dictated by our human nature
