No, it happens in real life all the time. Cops have been video taped doing it. All it takes is for the cop to pick you to pull over and you give him the opportunity to search your car. he might just need 1 more arrest to put him at the top of the list for holiday duty or get him off the shit shift. He just has to be better than his fellow officers. And if he needs just one more arrest for that to happen... hes going to do anything he can to make sure it happens. And that's where you come in.
Dont give them the opportunity. Dont let them search your car. If they are asking... they dont have probable cause. If they are asking... they are fishing for something to arrest you for. Otherwise they already would have arrested you and searched your car without your permission.

Well. The NORML lawyer worked wonders. I got into a fight with my dad when I was 16 and it is showing on my record as a domestic violence conviction (20 years ago dont matter im a convicted violent offender in their eyes now) which gave her a hard on...
The judge I'm told can get pissed so my lawyer (also formerly of the D.A. office) advised that a bench trial might piss him off with all the convoluted details. I thought about it and agreed.
Straight conviction. No jail time. $1500 (max fine).
All told that little bag cost me 3000, with impound fees, the lawyer, and rentals cars to go back and forth.
Freedom is a wonderful thing.
I also found out I better never get a violent arrest (hopefully none at all )again in my life or one that can be perceived as such cuz they will slam my ass along with my other previous arrest record.

I got enough court time in to be one or atleast a paralegal... his record is weak compared to mine lol .. I had a rough youth and was even told by judge I had problem with authority... I got wise and learned... I defended myself here in cali like 16 years or so ago and won... they keep trying and only get misdeamenors since I was a kid... had 33 in florida alone lol peace... florida will take your ride quick.. if your scoring drugs or a hooker.. fuck florida... I am glad it all worked out for ya man... remember murphys law
i have a trail of em showing my migration around the country when younger.... my printout was funny when the judge looked at it way back he started unfolding it holding up while it opened like a slinky.. now its all prob on his computer or such... i been real good in the last 15 or so with minor bullshit ,no charges stuck .. them days are over hopefully.. heres my guess .. maine, mass,new jersey,pennsylvania,florida,texas,arizona,cali,washington.. i might of missed a few lol cause theres 2 years i don't remember at all

man.. this happens all the time.. know your rights.. and with no probable cause and the correct documentation. you should just deny any and all searches. its not worth the hassel.. back in 92 .. I was driving home from a concert.. and made sure I had only enough bud and shit for the show.. and on the way home I get a flat tire.. and pull to the side and start changing it.. a cop pulled up.. and asked if I needed help.. an I replied nope im allll set.. anyways.. im getting the tire out of the trunk.. and I move a backpack.. to the ground... and the backpack was my buddies who I brought to the concert but he left with another dude.. and forgot his backpack.. well anyways the idiot I am.. I left it on the ground while changing the tire.. and the cop goes over and just opens the thing up searching threw it.. and as im finishing up putting my tire on he comes over to cuff me saying he found a bong and residue and a few empty bags with residue.. im in a different state then I lived in at the time.. so I had to go back down to court.. and ended up getting it all dropped.. as my friend came to court and took blame for his shit.. which was a stand up move.. but he only got 3 months probation . a 300$ fine.. and like 150 for probation costs.
$3000,,,, the cost of FREEDOM. What a fucking joke!!!
