^LOL! your bagseed was probably shipped to you from CA, and it was one of our elite strains.

lulz.

CA is where it's at, in terms of pot. No question about it.

So true. What we find boring here every other medical state loves. I don't know of any strains from Co that are famous and extremely sought after. However, california, oregon, and washington have countless strains that everybody wants and seed companies try to knock off.

Overall there is more shit to do in Cali...cities, beaches, mountains...I know Colorado has changed since I last lived there. I am kind of jealous how the scene completely exploded right after I left...However, consider sonoma county and the bay area...People are always looking to kick your door in and take your shit in Humboldt

Lets just say that many things were taken from Leadville to Norcal over the last 25 years.

BongRip JR,-Ask the oldest growers in Humboldt that you know, and see what they say.

Sorry I got off topic, just got the emerald rectangle pride.

I know. Genetics have been passed around for decades. Constantly being brought from all over the world. It doesn't happen much anymore. But every area has their own strains that are a staple to their area.

Never In my life have I heard somebody from here say we got genetics from Colorado! Ever since weed became legal in Colorado and Washington the claims from your statemen about your dominance in the weed game forever is beyond laughable and extremely ignorant!!! Just remember one thing, there's still a TON of peeps passing Colorado from the East on their way to CALI for that kind that you can't find in Colorado!. Humboldt County is a iconic and legendary weed zone known around the world and anybody in the states who doesn't show it that respect is a fuckin HATER!

If you got cash , lots , move to humboldt live on the beach and grow out door. Cops can't stop u but your neighbors might. You got to have a good connection cause you ain't selling it at the co op any more. Over head for indoor is way too much. Huge eat shit and die vibe if your not local. Watch out for the tweakers trying to steal everything . Outdoor can be copious there so get ready to count your cash
Boulder is a hard place to rent , but growing indoor is cheap. You can also grow more flavors and sell lessor quality sacks . Wear houses can be rented and land lords are cool . As long as your not from California or Texas everyone in Colorado seems happy u are there

I'd select the Front range...not necessarily Boulder, but somewhere tween Fort Collins(where I've lived in the past), and Denver...the reason is the altitude and dry air, vs the humidity of Norcal(where I've also spent plenty of time) When I was living in Ft Collins, I noticed the weed seemed to have more Trichs than what I had been used to in Norcal, and I decided it was was due to the combo of the altitude and the dry air...been back to norcal since then, and still think the buds were trichier in the front range...now I know there are sick buds all over Cali of course, and not all weed in the front range is better or anything, but I just kinda wound up believing that the front range as an environment, produced better Cannabis than Norcal as in, if you grew the same strain in both places with similar/identical mediums, nutes etc, the Front range bud would be superior...not Knocking norcal, its growers or anything like that, just to be clear...and obviously, norcal has the advantage as far as outdoor growing goes due to the temperature/climate.

the reason humboldt became what it is isnt bc of the climate (although its not that bad..), it's because those hills used to be and still are the wild west. And back in the day thats where commercial guerilla growing was going on, cops were scared to go there, and the vibe was right. Good combo, and still works today

I've spent time in both places and they both have pros and cons. Humboldt has a lot of mountain terrain areas that you can hide out and never be bothered. A literal fiefdom where unless you're in town, back near the coast, it's the wild fucking west. A lot of people who get busted back east come to Humboldt to hide out. Half the people who work big outdoor grows have warrants somewhere else. Lots of people go out there and never come back. For decades, people have gone to the emerald triangle to trim or help a friend on a farm and are never heard from again. It's an easy place to make someone disappear. There is no cell service in the mountains so it's hard to track someone down by pinging their phone and there is not much internet either so pot farms become these little cut-off enclaves without a lot of connection to friends or relatives so it's easy for someone to just vanish off the face of the earth out there. Damn near everyone is on meth and no shit, like 75% of people have herpes. Everyone has guns. It's a wild and potentially dangerous place where anyone not local is lower than scum but everyone knows the best cannabis genetics come from California. The cops out there are almost nonexistent unless you're in a town which is
fucking awesome if you ask me. Overall, it can be dangerous but if you're with cool people and you mind your own business and you aren't there to rob or snitch on someone, you'll be fine.

Boulder is a nice, clean liberal college town with generally kind and welcoming people. Lots of hot girls and all of the outdoor activities in Humboldt minus surfing. It's pretty pricey
though but you'll pay way less for gasoline and electricity.

I like both places but i doubt I'd want to live in either place as a grower. There is too much competition in both places. Northern California is completely flooded and prices are way down. Colorado was headed in that direction but now, since legalizing, they're running low so demand is way up.
