Azucar Grow

Nice thick stem but very short growth. Ever since I topped, crushed the hurd and repotted this plant has been growing slow. Hope it picks up some speed because In a couple weeks Its going into flower no matter what.

Well I was just curious to see the EC values of each one of those. I just watered my plant a day or so ago and didnt want to waste the nutes so I just foliar sprayed with them. Normally TOPMAX is for flower only right?

Its funny with BioBizz and Organics. A full feeding of what they recommend for week 4 would have an EC of around 2.0-2.5 I am guessing. I am still trying to unlock the mystery of BioBizz. More to the point, How can BioBizz Feeding Schedule come out to such high PPMs or EC but have no burn. And my conclusion thus far is that their Boosters and stimulants jack EC but don't have macros. I think it really only matters to mix in biogrow, biobloom, fish mix and measure the EC of that. The rest is just frosting on the cake.

Good point. I don't watch stretch I just want some nice growth before I flip to 12/12. If this strain really stays this short and compact that is fine, I just feel like I am doing a shitty job growing this plant because its so damn short after 4 weeks of veg. But if thats just the characteristics of this strain then I am fine with that. I guess I will just let it be. I dont want to do 6 weeks of veg and 55 days of flower and have a plant that is 1 1/2 foot tall and produce hardly any bud. That would be a long waste of time. I was going to do LST but it seems pointless now. With the plant staying this short what is there to LST, lol

I foliar sprayed with algamic, topmax, root juice and bioheaven and my plant is fine. I only did this because today i was measuring EC for each nutrient in tap water. And instead of tossing it away I am going to use it. And I am not going to put it in the soil as I just watered my plants a day or so ago. So I will use it for foliar. From now on I am just going to follow the BioBizz feed chart and just check the EC and make a note of it. I am not going to overthink anything.

Good point. I will check my plant tomorrow. If it shows any adverse reactions to the foliar spray I will stop.

I've grown out like 4 females of Azucar . Only one grew normal , didn't have sensitivities , and produced quality bud easily. I think its the Indiana clone causing issues here. But yeah , induce some stretch with the light , maybe point the fan not directly at the plant , water in some cal / mag supplement if you aren't . Hope it might help , peace .

Damn finally met someone on here that has grown this strain. Seems like no one has done a documented grow on this strain. I was searching the net. Cant even find photos of a grow on this one. How big was yours at 4 weeks veg? Thanks for stopping in, Any advice is great with this strain so far its staying real short.

Looks like I wont be pulling out my HID for this grow. Going to purchase a 300 watt CFL/Reflector combo with the 2700 flower bulb. 24,000 Lumens and low heat. I am going to keep this one plant in the grow tent. Its 3x2 footprint.

Ive grown mosca's OT x IBG and never had any issues with it at all.
I'm growing it now with no probs.
if i had to put my money on any 1 thing it's nutes+envirornmental conditions
pulling the lite source further away to make a plant grow more isn't the answer to make a plant taller....
unless looking lite starved plan.

I started another Azucar seed.......But its been so long since I have grown anything I fucked it up, Killed the seed. I have one more freebie left. You know the fucked up part of this? I don't even know if this plant I am growing right now..... is male or female. They sent me 3 freebie Azucar regular seeds, not feminized. So my plan is to collect a shitload of pollen if this turns out male and pop my last freebie Azucar and see if its male or female. If it turns out female I am going to hit her with some pollen and have my own collection of Azucar seeds. If this is female I will keep it, and pull some lower branches for clones and see if the clones grow faster then the mother plant.

It may have Indiana bubble gum but I find it very hard to believe that it should still be this short at 4 weeks of Veg.

Tempted to clone and do a Hempy Bucket or Coco grow and see how fast it grows then!

I will not light starve my plant, I don't want the plant to stretch for light I just want it to grow taller.

Anyway sunday if the soil is dried out enough My plant is going to get the full recommended dose of BioBizz from there feeding chart. PH adjusted. We will see how it goes from there. I topped the 2 primary shoots coming from the first topping today. We will see how the next few days play out.

So you said only 1 out of the 4 grew normal? The 3 that grew abnormal. What was the issue? Height?

Watered today. 1 Liter of water

2ML/L BioGrow
2ML/L Root Juice
2ML/L BioBloom
2ML/L Algamic
2ML/L BioHeaven

RO water was used at 0 EC
Mixture complete measured in at 1.8 EC
PH adjusted to 6.5
Watered the entire 1 Liter of water in with a touch of superthrive.

We will see tomorrow how my plant reacted to 1.8 EC (900 PPM)

They just seemed to be sensitive to the nutrients or environment at the time , but no other plants in the room got weird on me. Your issue might be a pH thing, try a little lower and let it swing up. Good idea on making the supply of azucar seeds. I almost bought another pack on the x-mas sale , but went for IBG x OTM , because all of the moonshine crosses i've run were impressive and i wish i still had them.

Ok I will let the PH swing and see if it fixes it. I have tried foliar micros at triple doses. Today I watered full dose BioBizz and it came out to 900 PPM exactly which is great.

I fucked up and snapped one of the lower branches half off, away from the pain stem. I propped something underneath the branch to hold it tight against the stem but I am pretty sure I am going to lose that branch. Oh well shit happens. I am growing this plant for experience only. It was a freebie. If it gives me some good bud then great. Will see.

i have 21 azucar seeds that were the buy a pak get 3 AZ's freebs deal.

Ya brother you are right. Breeding a runt is stupid. Stupid Idea.

It has to be a runt. I know T-5s are great for vegging but not so great that after a month of veg the plant is not even 6 inches tall. No way. This plant may look nice but to still be this small after 30 days of veg. No way.

What I will do at this time

1. Flip to 12/12 on the 16th.
2. Figure out the sex, male or female.....Then
3. Chop up the mother, Root the clones, Flip the clones to 12/12

If its male its getting tossed. Don't need males if I am not harvesting pollen. And I have other strains waiting to be grown.

Tired of wasting time and nutrients on this plant. If it was autoflower I could understand why it was staying so short. But its not autoflower. And its not some legendary strain worth my time or money.

Gnome, you flower with MH? How are your results? I was thinking to flower out this plant with the VEG bulbs as I dont have any 3000K T-5 bulbs right now. And I am not busting out the HID for one runt plant. Are you impressed with the bud from plants flowered under a MH?
