Thats pretty good 3rd .... even my attic with the heater going the temps drop to about 60 at the lowest point . which has been the last weekend here with sub zero temps outside , so i really can't complain .

2 feet of this shit ??? bummer !!!

Yeah well I had about 6-8 inches left over from the last time it snowed, so in total I'll have 2 feet by tomorrow.

With a couple 4 wheel drive vehicles and a 300 foot driveway, I don't move snow until I have no choice. Last year I never had to deal with it, never got more than about 6 inches at any one time.

you married guys crack me up...
well this will make up for it,today out riding i managed to nut myself pretty good on the headset of the bike....not curl up in a ball and die,my thigh took the brunt of the hit,so it wasnt benny hill comical unfortunately
but still,even just a hit in the neighborhood is enough!

i have got a lot of trail work to do,its now confirmed,i suck at the techy climbing bits,not surprising considering i have ridden a total of 2 beginner trails,not to mention its my first suspension bike...really,i just plain suck at it is all....the old mountain bikers motto,if you dont think you can clear a section get off and walk it so you can come back another day....wrecking is for kids...get better,come back,ride the trail again...

last winter i spent in ak i parked my truck during a november storm and that was the last i saw of it till spring....no 4wd or snow tires,i was lucky to get it home so i just parked and took the battery out,did a couple other things to winterize it and threw a cover over it and walked......actually that winter was ice bikes...old knobbies with sheet metal screws driven through and solid core foam inner tubes..had to glue the tires on....got pretty exciting when your rims iced up and the brakes stopped working

I had a dirt bike with a steal tank when I was a kid. Got off the school bus 1 day after a rain and went str8 for the bike. the first jump was almost the end of me. When I came down 1 foot slipped of a peg and I nutted myself on the tank. It was the kind of pain that makes you puke. To this day I would never get ona dirt bike with out a nut cup
