hard to be consistent with the veggie style farming imo but its nice way to get more then one kinda high/flavor from the same clone .

I personally think you get a much more complex terpene profile when you are not forced to harvest your plants cause they are basically dead.

At the same time I totally agree you do not want a bunch of excess nitrate in that plant when you harvest. But I don't think they are mutually exclusive...I think you can have both if you pay attention.

I am totally fine with others having differing opinions based on their personal experience. That is what makes the world go round.

I was just poking around the JH Biotech website the other day. It looks like they have a few things I could use. Have you used more than the cobalt? Do other have experience with this company?

I've used Ful Mag . Humax , Mixwell , Cal Boro , Aqua Power and a few other things. It all works well but is kind of expensive because it all has water...

I don't remember if the plant is using that energy or not, but carotenoids serve as a defense from oxidative stress that sometimes occurs during energy production. Here's a summary for details:

Zeaxanthin is what you want the most of in your foods. I've been eating so many carotenoids in the past few years that my skin shows pigmentation

We don't have very many finished bud shots… I'm a little embarrassed to show mine because I ran it through a machine but I'll see if I can snap one for informational purposes. In less stressful harvests I'm in the hang and trim dry camp though.

During the summer when chlorophyll is abundant carotene acts as a accessory absorber the energy that carotene captures from the blue green and blue light spectrum is transfered to chlorophyll to produce photosynthesis read the link I posted its has really good info on carotene, chlorophyll, and anthocyanins.

Listen, don't ever be embarrassed for doing what you need to do to get your crop in. My biggest year I had to machine 1/4 of it because there was just no other way and it all went in some way shape or form, even if I lost half of it to hubris.

It's a success if you got it in any way you look at it. All the best.

In my experience leaving the buds to hang with all the leaves including fans leaves left intact and not transporting the plant in a sealed or damaging container give the best product. It just really sucks to trim when dry.

A makeshift fan trimmer like this one doesn't seem so bad if you have a lot to get through and aren't overly worried about trim quality. A lot less molesting then most auto trimmers.

Thanks for the encouragement. I've get OCD with some things and it just sucks to compare mental images of this years trimmed flowers with last years that I hand trimmed.

I ended up getting a centurion over a twister because it was 40% less expensive and does (from what I gather) nearly the same job:

Not the best photo quality but if you look closely you can see petioles still attached at the bottom of the bud and much more leaf than I would leave of while hand trimming. It will also shred stems sometimes. I will say that you can put some serious volume through it. Prices are dirt cheap now and I cringe to think of paying a large crew 200 or more a unit.

We tried to pay ours 150 and they said they'd walk but they're very good and could easily find work elsewhere. We paid 200 to keep them working and happy. Next year I want to pay them 100 or Ill get a new machine. I still have all the drying racks.

Original OG Kush x Mango Haze

This is a cross I made a couple years ago that outperformed my expectations.
It leans heavily towards its OG Mothers side, but retains just an essence of real Mango flavor mixed with thick OG on the Exhale. Show stopper strong.

The clones I cut just rooted, so this plant is now safe.

The cool thing is this: The Haze did influence the structure of the plant for the better in a major way. No more flopping branches, and less support needed.

Furthermore: This was my largest plant, and has the potential of growing a monster sized OG plant,(In the right garden) with good yield, good structure, easy to grow, super potent, and utterly superb favor

LOL damn trimmers threatening strikes. we started ours off at 20 an hour and were sneaking by paying around 120-150 a LB....then after 2 weeks we started hearing gripes about how if we paid them 200 a LB they would trim 2x as fast. so towards the end of the scene we paid 200 and they actually knocked it out super quick so i wasnt mad about it. spoiled crew, drinking sierra nevada and smoking bubble hash nonstop, with almost daily trips to the buffet or bbq. next year ditching sour diesel and the other fluffy strains, i was amazed at how good the cherry pie and dream queen came out after machine trims, gotta run the denser cuts.

I didnt have nearly as much to be trimmed as most of yall, but I had the SLOWEST trimmers. They were all pretty polite, and respectful but I couldn't believe how slow they were trimming. The guy who was running the trimmers was slacking big time, and is not invited back. I pretty much had to tell them to leave after three days of not shit gettin trimmed.

i will continue to pay 200 a pound with quality food and living quarters. When I grow at least 200 pounds I clear a quarter million after costs. greed never got me anywhere, i love to give it back. i see all this garbage on the market and smile.
