Dank Demons Perpetual 3600 watt LED 18 plant SCROG

Hey Tony mate, well as you see I have been trying these LED lights but have now decided that I just dont like the vegging results so far so I have rehung my 2 Magnum xxl shades without glass running 2 MH bulbs to see if things improve and if they do its deffo these lights. The problems I am having is slower lateral growth and more leaf discoloration than you can shake a stick at.

Peace

Edited to add: I have noticed that as I have 3 of these LEDs the plants are growing very well under one but the other two they are slow with discoloured leaves, so whether its the amount of one type f LED used and not enough of another who knows? I think if I was to invest in these lights again I would go with a USA made one and wait for better proven results than buy cheaper Chinese LEDs. I will soon be running one of these in my cupboard right next to a HPS so side by side over half an NFT tank each to see exactly what the differences are, and why two of my units perform worse than the other. But at least I tried LED but now I cannot afford the problems associated for me with them.

Are the strains different under the other two DD?
Prolly missed something but thought you were switching back to hid!? For 2 units anyway

any updates mate some pics would be nice

what's the verdict then? people seem to have mixed views on this light

Hey RIL mate, No pics for a while I am afraid due to a few problems, but a HID swap and some Superthrive later all is perking right up again :)

My verdict on these lights I have is still going to have to wait for a while as plan on using each light for one grow each, side by side with HPS over an NFT system. The amount of different coloured bulbs in each unit differs so much I beleive its a cause to a few problems, hence the each light I have, one grow all the way through test.

Hey E, different strains under each light but now swapped to HPS problems are fading out and plants are resuming normal health.

Peace

Hey bro,

Yep the Crinkle comes up a treat indoors as well as outdoors, very frosty and very tasty.
Here is some info on the bags mate:

Product Description
Photosynthesis is the process by which plant leaves make carbohydrates. Sunlight, CO2 and water are converted into carbohydrates and O2 by the action of chlorophyll in the chloroplasts of the plant. Plants growing indoors under artificial light often lack enough CO2 to efficiently photosynthesize. When plants are able to maximize the process of photosynthesis, the result is larger plants with larger yields. ExHale can be used for both vegetative plant growth as well as for fruit and flower production. ExHale cultivates CO2 24 hours a day with no need to refill bottles or use expensive CO2 production units. The power of ExHale lies in the mycelial mass inside the vented cultivator. This mycelial mass cultivates CO2 and the one-way breather patch releases CO2 continually for up to 6 months. ExHale comes complete and is cultivating CO2 even before you get out of the checkout line. No need to turn it on or turn it off, simply place ExHale in your grow space and leave it alone to do its job. The ExHale Cultivator is designed for small to medium grow spaces, or more specifically 1 ExHale Cultivator will provide 4-6 plants with the CO2 they need. A continuous shower of CO2 directly onto your plants is the most efficient way to deliver CO2. Placing the ExHale Cultivator slightly above the level of your plants will insure they receive the CO2 they need 24 hours a day for up to 6 months.

Mycelia! Sounds mushroom, Fungi.well is.
Wonder if you could use it as a medium for Magic Mushrooms spores lol

Do you Think Co2 is Beneficial during Flower? Ive always thought and read not but i rekon it must be because Co2 would still make the Plant Perform Happier and Better! Surely..

^^^ just read your product description of the bags DD and now yes i remember from my failed attempt to grow mushrooms Yrs ago that Mycelia produces Co2! remember thinking this would be great for the Marijuana plants too! Wonder how Sterile that bag is!? if its really sterile sure (?) you could chuck some MM's Spores (lol&) in/on it!

LEDs out HPS in plants have resumed normal health and vigor

LEDs out HPS in plants have resumed normal health and vigor

Here is some pics of the plants at the start of week two in flower under MH bulbs for the first two weeks to reduce stretch. I have had bad problems with fungus gnats from this coco I used time so have ditched coco all together now and back to grodan cubes for future runs. I have also introduced some potted mums just to flower off as better than chucking them.

This was the fastest growing thickest stemmed plant I have seen for a while and the bud structure is amazing, I reckon this will be something special and very heavy yielding :)
