Azucar Grow

what i was getting at with the ro is that i don't bother checking ph, and works great!
But since you have such a nice meter you mise well use it.

I think your right where you need to be.
Since T5's cause dense node growth to begin with coupled with the topping and lst'in that defiantly slowed down that vertical growth, thats all good though.
I have grown both bubblegum, and C99, an the c99 was definalty faster grower than the bubblegum. Bubblegum was a bushier slower grower for sure. Yours will be real nice to see come 12/12.

I run ro, an am at 0 ppm.Your feeding sounds fine. i wouldn't hit her with 600 ppm's yet.
that will be a little on the hot side, an you don't want to slower her down any.

You think 600 PPM is too high for week 4+ of Veg. I was looking around, What do you think a better PPM would be?

Ya I guess with RO Water, BlueLabs and similar meters wont give accurate readings because there is nothing for the meter to gauge its reading off of? I guess from what someone was saying on here I have to add some nutrients to the water and then test the waters PH. Its crazy. I don't use the RO anymore, maybe when I do hydro or coco. But since my PPMs are so low to start with, I will never have to use the RO for dirt grows again. I am just going to PH adjust the Tap and water away!

Not much to report. Its sunday the 5th. I foliar sprayed again with algamic. The new 2 main shoots growing from where I topped are picking up growth. the plant refuses to grow taller just gets more and more bushy. Oh well. No worries. Later today I will fertilize with 500-600 PPM of biobizz and tap water, of course PH adjusted to 6.5, Not much left to do except sit around for another couple weeks and then flip to 12/12. It will be a 6 week veg on this girl. Keeping it around 75 degrees at the top of the plant and humidity is holding at 40% This grow seems to be going very good.

Tell me what all of you think about my leaves. It seems the leaves are still showing deficiency......

I think she is ready for a full dose of BioBizz, What do you guys think?

looking good mate

if you give them 75-100 % on root juice, top max and algamic and then 50% bio grow, the ppm should be way lower than 500

She is looking good. Going to be bushy untill the new tops get up a little. But thats all good.
Since your water is 90 ppm. if you are around 600 total ppm i think that should be good.

lulzz_ no topmax yet till he's in flower. Just grow, bloom, algamic is all i would be using.

Core- you can always run to the store a grab a jar of unsulfered black strap molasses.
good sugar source, and cal/mag. add it to your nutes at about 10-15 mls a gallon. dont have to count the ppms of the sugar as nutes!
That way you have a little extra since the plant is going to be using a good amount in transition phase.

Thanks for the info about the molasses! I think the plant needs more nutrients, dosent it look light green like its nute deficient?

Hey Lulzz your still using root juice? I thought that was only for the first week or so? Is it making any difference that you notice?

hi core,
the azucar heading caught my eye, i have 21 azucar freebs in the vault
Ive yet to see a gro with this one yet but mosca has good gear.
looking at the pics your plant looks like there's some interveinal yellowing going on.
not sure if it lighting or what.

alot of people use root juice from start to end, from what i read, besides increasing root grow it does alot of good things for the soil and nutrient uptake

when i started using it my roots exploded, on a few days it could grow several cm's

i stopped using it now cause i don't want to rootlock my plants, if i had more space and bigger pots, i would prolly still be feeding it, bigger roots bigger plants bigger yields

Thanks for stopping by. I like the plant, its staying very short, atleast the one I have is. I should be starting flower in the next 1 or 2. I will let you know how it goes, or if you stop by you can check it out. Its yellowing for sure. I am about to hit it with 600 PPM.

I will start using root juice. I have it, but never used it. I will start. Thanks for the info!

I have mosca's tsi fly and the plants stay short even after a 6wk veg the tallest were 4ft, not sure if they share a mom or pop.
for sure I'll be visiting, I want to see where this one goes :)
good to hear your upping the ppms
@4wks they are ready for full nute feeds

I just mixed up a full batch of nute's.

Per Liter of water I used the following-

2ML BioHeaven
2ML Bio Grow
2ML Alg a mic
2ML Bio Bloom
2ML Top Max
This was the BioBizz recommendations using their "light soil" And since I am using some off brand commercial amended, I figured what the hell, Use their recommendations as if i was using the light mix. So here is how it went...

including the 80 PPM starting tap water. I hit 1180 PPM! Way too strong. I am not going from 330 PPM to 1180. I added more tap water and brought it to an even 600. I am going to do a full drench with 30% runoff. I will measure the runoff PPM and PH. The PH of my Tap water is 8.0 even. After I added all the nutrients it lowered to 6.2-6.3. Since last times runoff was 6.8, The 6.2 should lower the soil to 6.5, right at the sweet spot. So my only fear is burning, I hope 600 is not too strong. I would not think so considering my plant is light green and showing nutrient deficiencies, and on week 4 of veg. Week 4 Veg should be good with 600 PPM. Anyway everyone let me know what you think! Thanks for stopping by.

sounds good, when mine was 4 weeks i was prolly hitting them with 1000+

btw, on my chart week 4 says 1 ml top max

if the mix gets too strong next time, try cutting back on grow/bloom/heaven, they are the ones that makes the ec raise noticeably

Thanks bro. I just watered them with the mixture. Collected about a liter (1000ml) of runoff. PH was 6.7, Its weird

I fed the plant with water at 6.2-6.3 PH and it only lowered it to 6.7, Not 6.5

Should I keep lowering the PH of the water going in until the runoff hits 6.5? Or should I keep watering with 6.5 and not worry about the runoff? I am confused on this.....And I watered with 600 ppm exactly and the runoff said 1120 PPMs. Does that mean there was already alot of nutrients in the soil? Kinda of confused. Oh well. 3 hours until lights off and then in the morning I will see how they took the watering. The PH is what is bothering me. I know a soil PH of 6.7 is not bad at all, but I want to hit 6.5

But I don't want to put water at 5.8 PH into the soil just to get runoff at 6.5. What do you think I should do here?

What do you make of the high PPMs coming out the bottom?

what lluz said, they'll take 1000 or more easy @4wks.
with the yellowing your seeing a good shot of fertz will help you get the green back in quickly

Ive never tried the fertz your using.
when i 1st started i would hit my pants @1500 and they would take it.
now i do 750ish every feed and water every 4th time.
but if you want to ramp up the ferzt a good way to judge what your plant will take is look at the very tip of the leaves
up the ppms until your seeing the last 1/8" of the leaf tip burn
that's about as much as you want to go.

personally now i like lighter back to back feeds as opposed to hit em hard heavy feeds.
imo the plants respond better
