Most reliable FEM strains/breeders for outdoor production

So this upcoming outdoor I hope to pick up some solid feminized gear so that I can start seeds directly in their final container and not worry about wasting space growing males. I am mostly looking at OGRaskal for fem gear, but also considering Pisces Genetics. Am forgoing Peyote Purple for now, seems to have small bud production..

What other companies offer ROCK SOLID fems that are Sativa hybrids with a more open flower structure? I got my Kush covered, looking for something Sat dom hybrid style that will finish on/before October, give good connoisseur yields and will have decent resistance to mold. Skunks/Hazes would be awesome, Diesels too but I need something that won't herm out on me. Most fems I am coming across seem to be Kush / Chem, looking for a classic.. OGR's White Super Skunk would fit the bill but can't find it in stock..

Stay thirsty my friends.

Female Seed Co's C99 is stable (never saw a single "naner" in several runs), will finish by October (IME 8-9 weeks indoors), and has decent yields (not sure what "connoisseur yields" are though)

I have had botrytis get to a few of the biggest colas during one run. It was summer; hot & humid and I had too many plants packed in the room so I was really asking for it. Havent had any problems since. This is my last run with this one though. The aroma just aint enough for me. Its nice and a welcome change but its just not strong enough.

I am currently running their "Iced Grapefruit" Heard a lot of good things about the strain when I was looking for something different.

CH9's "Jack" was a great strain. I got it as a freebie and it surprised me. Nice sativa dominant hybrid, quick finishing, OK yields, great citrusy, skunky smell. I would consider that or one of the crosses they have.

Both are relatively inexpensive and available.

Dinafem gets good reviews. Havent finished any of their stuff yet though.

I have grown a few Nirvana strains and had no problems. A late flowering naner or two but nothing major. That will happen with a lot of strains regardless of breeder or seed type. They have a big selection and are inexpensive. They lack the reputation of some of the "in" breeders but their seeds are good. Their AK48 was my favorite. Big fat colas that filled out every main branch. Great old school skunk smell. You can buy a few packs and chose the best pheno for the price of one pack of the "elite" breeders.

Got a pack of RP's Sour Kush OTW. The most expensive seeds I have bought so far. I'll see if they are drastically better than anything else I have run.

doing pisces chem kush atm and she ready for chop, just waiting to flush a bit more, 9 weeks with frosty rock hard chunks of bud all over, also done their valley dawg and that again was herm free and a superb smoke, sativa wise i alway like female seeds grapfruit x nevs and nev hybrid, both very very good and done in 12 weeks, if you want to go with a proper haze or sat them go with ace, that guy has some landrace fire! all have solid fems and solid line ime, im sure there are others out there to.

I was wondering the same exact thing! :tiphat:

I'm planning on at least some Fem Panama x Deep Chunk and Fem Columbia Mangobiche x Peyote Purple from Cannabiogen for outdoors next year. Hoping I get some pheno's that finish in time (especially with the mangobiche x peyote, that one is a gamble).

But i'm thinking I want some guaranteed fast finishing strains to make sure harvest is bountiful. Will be keeping my eye on this thread for ideas!

I have to say dinafem! these strains were made outdoors or greenhouses in Spain.. blue widow is a good one, done end of sept, good potency..

moby dick is still ticking my boxes after smoking it for three months straight.. it is a great outdoor strain but they finish little later.

you can never go wrong with ace..

@guy Fawkes did your Pisces seeds come from that place that is now gone, also did your seeds come in a Baggie with a sticker on the front

I'm looking at delicatessen seeds at the moment. Thinking about trying their "Lilly" outdoors this year. I was going to go with Mextiza but Lilly's description sounds better and it finishes in 7-8 weeks. Its some kind of African x sativa.

Stabilized hybrid. Practically a pure sativa in all respects and certainly one of the fastest. Blooms in 7/8 weeks, producing an impressive amount of sticky resin that gives off a strong smeel of tropical fruits, hence the nickname "Pina Colada".

Genetics: Congo - Central Africa - Queen Mother
Flowering: 7/8 weeks
Production: Medium - High

They can be found on cannabiogens website.

So lets say I go with a pure Sativa selection like Cannabiogen Panama, I am planning to do an extended veg time for the rest of my strains (GG#4, Appalachia, a few OGR fem selections) - would I want to have the Panama on a separate plot on the property without supplementing light to accommodate her long flowering time? OR should I go with Panama X DC which has a shorter flowering time and keep them all on the same plot?

Anyone with experience with Cannabiogen strains I would love to hear from :) Going to do a bit more research then pull the plug on my fems today.. Going to plant in March :)

Thanks Guy
to the op I'm in the NE, some FEMs that work for me are
Female Seeds: Purple Maroc, Maroc,Easy Sativa
Emerald Triangle Blueberry Headband, Grapefruit Krush, Bubba76,Mastadon Kush, and Royal Purple Kush,
Dr.Greenthumb Iranian Chemdawg
all did fairly well for me in a year where we had freezing rain in early September and then a long warm up, all of these strains were pulled by October 10,I didn't yield as much as I would have liked but they were all root bound from being in party cups till mid July with preflowers on several plants, I had to many things going on to actually plant them when I wanted to, but these are in my lineup this year because they did much better than all the other strains I ran

Btw these strains I listed were never watered, only fertized twice, then harvested with minimal mold, there was some, but not much, with some being in less than ideal, constantly damp areas

Knocking on wood, I have never had a bad experience with Female Seeds. They are very affordable and always had good keepers with their packs

Youre not going to be able to finish a landrace sativa before October. Pure sativas take 12-20+ weeks to mature. Not really known for their yields either. Legendary highs, unique aromas and high THC content but not practical for northern outdoor growers. Even tough to pull off indoor.

I just finished my last C99 and it looks like my best yet yield wise. Topping, pinching and training for maximum spread helps a lot. No sign of any male parts either. Flowered for 8 weeks from cutting.

Ok word, thank you for bringing me back down to earth lol, one can get carried away looking at Cannabiogens selection of pure sally hybrids.

Just ran across a nice sounding outdoor Herijuana hybrid:

"Strain: Heribei
Brand: ******s Seeds
Flowering Time: 8-9 weeks
Sex: Feminized
Environment: Outdoor
Genetics: Herijuana X Ierdbei F3
Strain Type: Hybride outdoor

Heribei is made for the terrible wet and cold Dutch climate by Knutsel our personal dy hard outdoor grower. Much effort and time is putted in to make these seeds and tested them in outdoor set ups. Before releasing the Heribei is tested outdoor and indoor with the greatest satisfaction.

Herijuana is know ed for here medical quality's, this combined with the powerful and also medical Ierdbei is making sure the heribei is very powerful medication. Heribei is very suitable for indoor growing and she gives A+ quality smoking gear.

This strain is a must have for outdoor growers !"

Think I might give this one a shot.

Also, thanks to Cannivore for reminding me about Original Delicatessen. Definitely gonna try to get my hands on some of their stuff for this year.
