BOYS! I respect both of you immensely and have been on these forums with different names throughout the years but the only actual evidence I have is that Breederbrad and smoke-a-lot have produced some of the best and most underrated beans I've had the privilege of testing. Like I said you both have very valuable input, but I would like to see what GS can do if he could release his own creations to the public. Honestly both are very matched in experience here and I hope that one day the canadian sub forum will benefit from a collaboration.

lets put it this way. i know guys my age in Vancouver that cant even sell their land in india they inhereted. so for my company, thats no money out of pocket
if a candian firm wants to buy a farm in uruguay not paraguay, its going to be in the millions, no mortgage, cash up front, unless you find a partner as well.
so i know you are thinking retail, but thats not a typical business model.
people usually think overhead. do the math this way based on my life and opportunity with your numbers:
2 million for farm land = 10,000 kg per years x 30 per kilo after expenses and taxes = 300,000 per year. now take off your living expenses - 100,000 per year you are looking at 10 years to start turning a profit
india = free land = virtually free labour (pakistani) = 10,000 kg per year x 30 per kilo after expenses = 300,000 - 10,000 living expenses = 290,000 per year profit
now this isnt perfect math or anything. but ask any business owner or investor if they want a return on their investment after 12 months or 120 months if all goes well. mind you you own the farm which should hypothetically increase in value over time, but that is no guarantee either
all passion and heart aside. business is about services and revenue, dollars and cents. its about return on investment all other fun stuff aside, because corps do not function on good will and high hopes. uruguay is not cheap, esp farm land, esp being foreign
