ha! i was just about to complain about the weather here! well its crappy for me,the winds are already up and fairly strong,i can see stuff blowing up the road and that means its already at least 15 mph...i know,wah wah wah...its only going to be 60 today...but its cloudy! oh woe is me,what awful winter weather
im pretty sure i can stay occupied catching up on all the things i have been neglecting around the house in favor of riding....like the garden for one...
kind of a sad statement about this area then,i mean its not like im really all that good a grower or anything....or even particularly nice for that matter...You are somewhat of a celebrity around those parts Unc-

you can see why i was mocking myself!even if i did live someplace with winter you can bet i would still remain active....heck,im slacking off on riding these past couple days but im still well over 100 miles for the week...im still going to get 10 hours of saddle time in,not too bad for an off week...
lol,see for me its a chance to get all dressed up in all the over priced outdoor gear i have! even here somedays i have hundred of dollar of gear on just to ride for a couple hours,all those high tech wicking fabrics and nano pore raingear and the bike shorts...the padding stuff is all 3d yada yada this and anti microbial that...for a 100 bux a pair they better be!
What is this storm named Ion? Its supposed to hit tomorrow in the midwest? They said some places in SD and some other state may get down to -70 F with wind chill factor.
Some weatherman named it a "Polar Vortex". Says its super cold air, stacked real high in the polar region, that all of a sudden rushes down and into warmer areas. Its supposed to get dangerous in some places

Unc, if you would do outdoor activities in this weather you are CRAZIER than i thought.
The "feels like" temps are like -30 in some places. Thats just plain sickening coldness.
But I know youve experienced temps like those b4, so i guess you are just crazy!
These temps do make me feel bad and scared for the all the homeless folks tho. Even if it is most of their own faults. Its gotta be awful to have to be out in this 24/7.
Me, i sent the kids to grandmas and am getting super lit on 3 different types of concentrates.

One flick of the lighter and it almost all completely melts away. The chunk of oil took a few tries though. When the bowl was kicked, it left a small amount of the whitest ash ive ever seen. very strong, especially the yellow/orange stuff. The oil isn't bad either.

took a little buzz around town on tha camber...i was right,its shitty out....seem to have gotten the shifting dialed in better though...
time to scrub some containers,i need to do some up potting but im pretty sure i dont have near enough medium to really do anything...i hate to make them wait but no coin till next week...but by then im gonna need 3 bags or more...plus a gallon of bloom and a quart of biobud and roots and grow...
but then again i hoping for more than a pound off the 20 gallon glue so...

Supposed to be getting another foot of snow tomorrow and then the big chill for Mon & Tuesday. Not gonna get above 0 on Tuesday. Makes it difficult to get the motivation to walk to the barn. Then once out there I need to change into shorts and a T shirt if I want to be comfortable.

not crazy pappy,just dedicated....and well prepared....all things considered most of what i do is very safe,the risk are carefully managed,im old enough now that i back off if im in over my head....
tough thing to explain i guess,theres something about pushing your limits,having to dig deep....im just gonna stop before i babble more quasi spiritual nonsense here,its one of those things you either get or you dont,i can only encourage you all to find some form of exercise you enjoy and get to it!

2013 Daywrecker Headband S1's
2013 Daywrecker Headband S1's
There were Three seeds sprouted for the outdoor run last year. Two were female, and one was a super rare male Headband. Thats the dark horse. The sisters can perhaps give us some clues about their brother.
The larger in-ground headband produced fairly dense trichome encrusted buds. The yield was good. The flavor and aroma were good but not pungent to my liking. Earthy and smooth smoke.
The high, however, was very strong, and very different then GG4. Its more of an up high, but relaxed. Great quality high.
The Other pheno was grown in a 45 gallon tote. It displayed strong Sour Diesel traits and produced two wildly different flavors off the same plant. Most of the plant was picked with mostly clear/ some milky trichs. The buds were very aromatic and flavorful, like a super OG or Sour D. While there is some earthy in there, its almost like a sour Diesel, with a shot of pineapple or something. Sweet and almost sharp flavor.
One branch was pollenated, and left for an extra month to ripen. That bud has a strong pungent sweet odor, all amber trichomes, and tastes exactly like Grape Koolade. Its also super strong.
The one on the left is a lower GG4$ branch. The branch to the right is that late picked Grape flavored Daywrecker
To sum it up: Both are very strong with a great feeling quality high. One has a more pungent flavor, and leans diesel.
Bottom line: They are probably worth the cow, Jack.

all that free nice scorehere is all the swag I got at the hydro store today. I was looking for early to mid veg stuff and rooting stuff. The white Powder is excellent for Compost Teas. It has all kinds of beneficial bacteria. They have me 6 packs of ea kind. I dumped them all into 1 bag. The white Bottles are 1 time use for a 5g bucket. More veg stuff. the top dark Bottles are from rooting to flower. I always ask for there free samples

yea that realy sux for me.as I don't sell. But just before x mas I did sell all that outside grown bud to a friend .A one time deal $250 oz. I had 6 oz. left u do the math. I smoked 1 oz, made cannabutter out of 2 oz, & gave my son 2 oz ,SO 11 oz of outdoor buds.
I gave an ounce of GG4 to each my sons as part of their Christmas present. They were plenty happy when they pulled those out of the wrapper
