hey mate, starting to look better

you should try fimming instead of topping next time,

on my 6 fimmings, i got 1x 6 tops 1x 5 tops 4x 4 tops

:tiphat:looking good core don't worry some plants are just a little more difficult to dial in she still looks nice just keep rising your amount of nutes until she starts to make a turn around don't get discouraged though growing isn't as easy as you thought huh lol

Thanks brother. I will keep trying as long as she is still alive. lol. I will bump up the nutes next feeding to 600 ppm.

Did you foliar the ala-mic?? Some plants use lots of cal/mag. otherwise she looks pretty good to me.

I foliar fed AND watered in double to triple the recommended amount. It seems like the new growth is nice and green and the larger leaves are the ones most impacted by this deficiency. Other than that its growing real short and bushy. I just topped. I am going to foliar feed later with 90ppm PH adjusted Tap water and 7ml of algamic. I will see if another spray gets things under control. I cant water anymore into the soil because the soil needs some time to dry out.

I looked up the FIM technique. I didnt full grasp the difference in methods. I think next time I will give the FIM a try. I think I might test out some LST and see how it goes. With this strain, and my grow, staying so low and bushy maybe i should skip the LST.

when fimming you only cut a few mm of the top shoot and then you have great potential for 4 tops, or even 5/6 cause the side shoots below will grow like they are tops too and catch up

Nice picture! Thanks for that info. Next time I will try FIM, hopefully I will get it right.

hey core have you tested the ph of your runoff ?

I measured runoff about 5 or so days ago. I watered to 30% runoff, collected 500 ML of runoff, strained all the particles out and used the bluelab. Reading said 6.8. Next time I water I am going to run 6.2 in to drop it to 6.5. Even at 6.8 I don't think I should have any lockout with cal/mag. I think I need to step up my nutrient strength. What do you think?

did you only use algamic last watering?

btw, i think you should stop using RO water, tap water contains alot of minerals that are good for the plant, this is most likely why you had these troubles

if you use RO water you need to add a shitload of diff things yourself

Hey Lulzz. Ya I stopped using RO water about a week ago. But my Tap is only 90 PPM. It barely has anything in it as is. A few days ago I fed with the 330 PPM mixture. Next time I am going 600 PPM. I have been foliar spraying the plant daily with the algamic at a very heavy dose. Plant looks good. I think that the larger leaves will not completely recover from the deficiency. I already topped my plant and I crushed my stem in 3 different spots to make the plant reinforce itself. I have a small fan blowing on the plant constantly. I figure 2 more weeks of veg, no matter how big it is. Its getting flipped. I will bend and tie down as necessary during flower if it gets too out of hand.

Interesting enough my Tap water PH is about 7.9 and when I add the Algamic it lowered it to a perfect 6.6. I thought that my BlueLab PH probe needed to be calibrated so I pulled out my other probe and hooked it up, same reading. It was nice not having to worry about PH adjusting my foliar spray.

I am not sure if this plant is supposed to stay this short or I am doing a terrible job at growing it.

it sounds like a indica dominated strain, so its prolly ment to be short and bushy, +you were set back allot with your problem

have you seen my copenhagen kush, the one in the cup?

they were germinated same day as all my other seeds, it took almost 10 days to get it to break its shell, and now its around day 35, its 5 cm high, got 4 nodes and haven't been moving for the last month, it got same conditions as all the other plants, some seeds are just bullshit

looks decent now, just sad it isnt growing at its full potential :(

90 ppm tap water? thats nice, for drinking it must be of good quality, my water tastes like shit even when you mix it up with things it just got a chemical taste to it

if you didn't give them anything but algamic yet, im sure that giving them ½ strenght, around your 600 ppm would make the growth explode

Hey core.
Things seem to be on pace. Just have to have a little patience.
if it takes after more of the bubblegum it wit be a slower grower, but give it a couple weeks an you'll have a better idea. Old leaves won't get better. keep an eye on that new growth..as long as thats looking good..
how far is the light off the top?? bout 6"?

Thanks for the words of encouragement. When the grow started I heat stressed it because I had my hygrometer/thermometer on the wrong setting. So for days it was peaking at like 97 F. That T-5 gets real warm in an enclosed area. That slowed it down from the beginning. But it bounced back. Everthing seems to be pretty much dialed in its just growing slow, or rather staying really short. After I topped it a few days ago the growth slowed down even more, and I crushed the "hurd" to further strengthen it for flower. I am guessing that my fuck up, the topping, the hurd breaking, has all done its part to slow it down. Right now I run 18/6. Temperature stays 70 during the day and at night about 65 or so. Humidity is staying anywhere from 30-45 percent. I keep thinking what I can do to speed up the growth but everything seems to be dialed in. I guess as you said the bubblegum is going to make it grow slower? shorter? The new growth seems to show no deficiency and looks nice and healthy. The light used to be 1 inch away and I think it was heat stressing the leaves as they were "cupping" up, I moved the light too far away and now I have it 3-4 inches away from the plant canopy and the canopy is staying right at 75 while at dirt level its right at 70. Seems like everything is ok? Next week makes 30 days since The seed broke surface, Considering the super slow growth I am going to go another 2 maybe 3 weeks then start to flower. What do you think?

Ya the water tastes amazing. I am lucky to have such nice water out of the tap. But kinda wish it was higher PPM for my plants purpose lol. I did 2 waterings with biobizz at 330 PPM.
(90ppm tap and 240 Biobizz) and foliar sprayed algamic heavy dose several times. Next watering with 600 ppm Should jumpstart something.......Just hope its some nice green growth and not burning my leaves up.

I know a while back before I joined ICMAG I grew GreenHouse Seeds super lemon haze and it grew way faster then this plant. But speaking truthfully, even this short plant is stinky. When I crushed the "hurd" my fingers smelled like a stanky bag of weed, it was pleasant. My Phresh filter is going to have its work cut out in flower lol.

I think your right where you need to be.
Since T5's cause dense node growth to begin with coupled with the topping and lst'in that defiantly slowed down that vertical growth, thats all good though.
I have grown both bubblegum, and C99, an the c99 was definalty faster grower than the bubblegum. Bubblegum was a bushier slower grower for sure. Yours will be real nice to see come 12/12.

I run ro, an am at 0 ppm.Your feeding sounds fine. i wouldn't hit her with 600 ppm's yet.
that will be a little on the hot side, an you don't want to slower her down any.
