I have had people tell me that partaking in MJ will lead to hard drugs , when I ask them if they like a drink & the answer being yes will they become an alcoholic ? Then I`m told but that`s different .

Exactly, people always point to "worst case scenario" but when you point out their worst case scenario (for alcohol that would be sitting in town, smelling of the turd that's been in your kecks since yesterday, shouting at passersby, and begging for spare change) they dismiss it.

Worst case for alcohol is you become a wino, but we don't ban alcohol to prevent people from becoming homeless alchies.

Was talking to a friend in CO today about this. He was involved in helping shape the laws/guidelines for the county he's in.
