its really late if it was xmas! i think you mean new years!

yeah,i had a bike hangover yesterday,i really meant to go and ride, but after a certain number of bonghits i just said screw and took a nap instead,i had to clean the house anyway,it looked like an rei outlet had exploded in the house..got everything put away, probably should have cleaned the camber and the ogre,i can do that tomorrow...

got the 20 gallon glue out last night, and the grom x gk,actually let the grom x gk go out to 70 days this time for its last hurrah, also have a critical kush about to come out,i have no idea how long its been flowering but i need the space and it looks done so chop chop...
put a 20 gallon glue in by itself in a 4x4 area see how one does in that size alone under the lamp, the 45 gallon glue is almost to week 7,it will be interesting to see if i can break my current single plant record of 26 oz,although it being the glue it wont surprise me if it does, even a solid 24 would be fine by me...

seedlings and cuttings will be out of the domes soon,i can get the female clones head started in flower for a seed run,let them get about 3-4 weeks into flower and then bring in the male since they tend to start spewing in 7-10 days under 12/12 ime...hmmm what would be a good name for strawberry diesel x gorilla glue....hmmmm,sticky,sweet,pink....how about porn star?

Took some cuttings from my "keeper" mom Satoris...last couple of times (with other plants) haven't been too successful so trying another method. Think I saw someone post same kind of thing in this thread.....so giving it a shot.

Am I taking the right length of cuttings....leaving the right amount of leaves on top?

Water is 80 ppm, 72 Deg F, and 5.9 ish pH.

Last go around with my EZ Clone my water temp got too hot I think....about 81 Deg so leaving this setup out of the veg closet for now.

Thanks.....and Good Evening Y'all! Windy, Rainy, and getting cold here.

I use tap water, a little hormones,& a little veg fert. I put a timer on mine in the summer time.

Hola!

I've been in a colossal rooting slump lately myself. RRs on a heat mat under a dome, in a sprayer bucket gimmick, in perlite.. Finally threw my hands up and hacked a bunch of Nightmare cuts last night and stuck 'em in a cup. Why swim upstream?!

I think y'all call it an Unc-O gimmick

Sonofabitch. I always think, Well, if I can root it in a cube or a sprayer, I'll get a head start vs. the rooted-in-a-cup deal. .. But the challenge is, .. I've been failing in the cube or the sprayer lately. :wallbash:

But on the upside, here they are, day 55 of 85:

:coffee: mornin fellers...

pretty interesting whats going on in colorado, that will certainly bear keeping an eye on...i wonder if they will be having shortages soon? i guess pressure will ease up once more stores are approved, but whether they have enough supply to meet demand over the long term will be interesting to see...really of course i want to see what happens to local market conditions,it would sure be nice if the product from out of state got absorbed by colorado...they are already talking about ballot initiatives here for legalization...good thing i have a big backyard...need to get my bill trailer and some dogs here, start building a nice secured greenhouse...you know what would be slick? bury the building about halfway,i bet it would save heaps on cooling in the summer and heating in the winter, plus make it very easy to enclose in a chain link fence....then i could use the left over dirt to build a mountain bike skills course in the backyard!

Lol. The overhead is too low, and there are too many piunds at once to trim. It's a pain in the ass.

Unc that idea has been proven to work, in the winter you can fill 55gal drums w/water paint them black and they give off radiant heat.. Works really well, remember they make these heat activated hydraulic cylinders that opens a window when temps reach 75-80 degrees F.

anything vaguely solar powered works really well here of course,so all that passive solar heating and cooling, rammed earth stuff has good sized followings around here...its always been in the plan to get panels up on the roof, and most of the greenhouse power for cooling and such can be done with solar and its easy enough to crop year round here in a greenhouse.

Pretty much the same method i use. I honestly just ph tap water and thats about it, short of rooting hormone. Usually takes about 10-12 days but its worked out great for me.

I love that unc is pretending he wants to bury the greenhouse to save on heating/cooling.

Come on Unc, we all know its all about the mountain bike skills course!!!

:bigeye: well duh! i have been spending the morning in part checking out google to find the local trails and read up on them, looks like theres places i havent even checked out yet!:dance013:
i guess its a good thing,i have so many rides and camping trips planned its going to be a long time before i run out of fresh stuff to do,and especially as i gain the ability to range out farther and farther and gain the confidence to tackle more demanding terrain or simply longer rides....
i think next will be a bike touring trip to a nearby town about 60 odd miles away,no camping, just a hotel night instead, only carrying a change of clothes and enough food and water for the ride, maybe the first time i will stay two nights and ride back on the following morning so im not doing it back to back, thats the next step...
and some of these mountain bike trails i will need to cover 30-40 miles with half being the round trip to get to the trails...
im babbling again:biggrin:

:wallbash: some days i just dont think the weed helps....an hour wasted trying to get my rear derailleur adjusted only to realize the frickin wheel wasnt in totally straight....doh!
time for a test ride, the camber is all cleaned up and ready for some weekend shreddery:woohoo:
been looking at the trail maps,i need to get a new printer cartridge and print them out to see if i can make heads or tails of them...i think i did the roller coaster trail the other day...well named...

MY finding on the unc-o-gimmick so far .
nothing rooted yet, but 100% still alive
a few nubs on stems
it worked grate for holding my cuts till I could use them
I still have some in the cups, they will stay in cups till they root or not.
just my 2 cents.:tiphat:

:dance013: sweet, shifting seems to be working better on the camber, just need to wipe the brake rotors clean with the rubbing alcohol i just picked up and finish blasting the shock seals clean with the canned air i just got...think im finally getting the road bike seat in just the right spot, getting a slightly wider set of handlebars to see if i can chase the last of the hand pain away...i dont want to spend a ton on the road bike, just enough to get the fit corrected,as long as thats cheap, maybe in another year i will be ready to upgrade to a 2 or 3 series, for now this one is fine, still a good solid ride with close to 4000 miles on it....
