Greenhouse in MI help

Hi everyone,
I am new to growing in a greenhouse, but not outside.
I just moved up to mi a couple months ago, an am planning on building my own greenhouse for this up coming year.
From what i am reading about law here looks pretty tight on the whole outdoor thing. I saw a greenhouse on here that someone built in CA that had solid walls. I was thinking of doing the same.

I want it to be 24x48. thinking of using T1-11 panels, and 6 mil greenhouse film on the top. with a 4/12 pitch roof.

My main concerns are will this work/legal?? , heat.

think ut biggest legal hitch is 'secure & locked facility', which i believe is required for any grow. but thats something that would need to be interpreted by whichever cop shop that might screw w you. some areas have a more progressive attitude, others are looking for a reason to violate you. a lot just depends on who comes a knockin. there hasnt been a court ruling that further defines as of yet, to the best of my recollection.

the secure an locked facility was the main thing i was worried bout. figured with solid walls, and locked door i should be good.
It helps that my closest neighbor is 1/4 mile away.

if u had a little cash, high metal fence around the greenhouse is my bet... chains & locks.

but have you spent a summer out here? or a winter? i cant imagine how expensive it will be controlling the environment in a greenhouse. it is always 70-86 rh... muggy hot summers. even now, 8*F & it is still over 80rh. a lot of moisture removal + cooling + heating. or u just have to chem them like no other & hope for the best.

you asked about legal at first, but personally think mi sucks for outdoor climate... it'l be a bitch, maybe more so than cops. we'v already got a ton of mold infested & b grade everywhere. we need pristine medical grade.

I hear u on the quality thing, thats why i have the indoor. Never been up here where I am in the summer. Can't be much worse than were i was in IL with the super hot summers, and high humidity. Just want to do a summer round outside. I figure 1 fan at each end(48")
should help...but well see. maybe i will make it a little smaller. I can always add on if it works well.
Wish i had the cash to put up a nice hoop with a chain link around it. Maybe in the future.

Growing in a greenhouse is going to be very hard to stay legal.
2.5 ounces per patient only adds up to 15 zips max.

Why use t-111 for the walls? I would use opaque fiberglass from the polebarn store.
U will wants lots of ventilation in one that sized. Air movement will really be critical.
Plan some form of shade/screen can help.
Welcome to the party!
Good luck

Yes tryin to be legal in there set parameters is not going to happen.
Just as hard as inside to keep those numbers.
Just looked at menards they have corrugated steel panels(green) 32"x96" for $15.30 each:)

thinking about a swamp cooler also.

I hope since i am only 6 miles from lake MI that will help big time with temps, but we'll see.

Thanks for the info guys. Since i am new to this i am sure i will be adjusting as i go.

I was on youtube: saw some 'welded wire' called cow panel, or cattle panel. They are 5'X 16' so you'd need to use two fastened together at the top? For the size you want it'd take 40 panels. They run $20 or so here in Colo.

The good part is you would have a secure building if the door locked? Hoophouse with plastic over it and or shade cloth. The welded wire 8gauge I think, would be more secure than even a 'high fence'? You'd need to frame in the ends for 'security', I'm sure.
