Azucar Grow

Can't really find anything on this strain, it's a shame about mosca's forum disappearing.

I've got some of his Sonic Fly going atm, about 2 weeks into veg.

Going to get some more Mosca gear during the holiday promo, really considering the Azucar after seeing Moses' and Stagger Lees' grows and smoke reports on the OTIBG.

I'll definitely be checking in on your thread, much luck and good vibes my friend.

Hey Gifstah, Thanks for stopping by. Ya there is not a lot of info or grows on this strain. Its too bad. I have C99 BX1 10 Reg Seeds in the hopper after this test run. How is the Sonic Fly looking at 2 weeks?

My plant is just over 2 weeks old and starting to give off that smell. Guess its time to get the phresh filter hooked up. Pics to follow later on.

27 December. Daily Updates with pictures will stop. I will do every 5 days. This plant is over 2 weeks old and I believe is growing so incredibly slow. Height is staying super short? Any ideas? Is this strains supposed to stay really short? I was thinking to do 1 month of veg but if this thing doesn't start growing more I might have to do a 6 week veg. Let me know what you guys think.

My plant is working on 3 weeks old. Don't know how much fertilizer is left in the general purpose garden soil because I always water to runoff, so.......I mixed up my first batch of nutrients well below the recommended dosage of biobizz. Used my bluelab. 90 PPM starting tap, after I added the full biobizz lineup WELL BELOW recommended dose I came out to 330 PPM. Sounds about good for a 3 week old plant. I will water with it tomorrow or the next day and see how my plant reacts. If i see slight burning I might dial it back just a little and if it reacts well I will fertilize with about 500 PPM in another week. We will see how it goes. Crossing my fingers that I dont burn up my plant. Thats the problem with pre fertilized garden soil, you just don't know whats still left in the soil.

BioBizz recommends 1 to 2 ML/L. I use gallons. there is 3.78 liters to 1 gallon. So basically biobizz feed chart wants me to use 3-6 ML for each gallon of water for each nutrient. Today I mixed up about 1-2 ML of each nutrient for that 1 gallon. I am at about 1/3 of their recommended dosage and thats including 90 ppm starting tap. I don't think thats too bad. Very low risk of burning my plant but fingers crossed we will see. I am not sure what if any of the biobizz line has cal/mag so I am using straight tap instead of RO to get any cal/mag I am missing from my nutrients. I didnt add any superthrive in just yet, Maybe I will save that for when I water them with straight water no nutrients. We will see.

Update. 28 December. Nothing new really. Thinking I might do LST with this one. Depends on if I can get a grow cab designed or not. THE DR 150 is too big for where I need to put it. damn it. Anyway I am thinking I might already have a nutrient deficiency going on as my leaves are starting to "fold up" "cup up" Dont think its from heat stress although the T-5 bulbs could be too close. Not sure. Ideas anyone?

Its definitely heat stressed from what I could find. Going to move the T-5 light up so its about 4 inches away from plant. See if that helps.

hey mate, looking good :)

how did they respond to your feeding?

and yeah, it looks a bit stunted, i burn'd 1 of my plants too when they was about 2 weeks, and that 1 plant that got burn'd the most never grew normal again, it doesn't look that bad for yours tho

Mine was stunted from heat stress. I had temps at around 90F. I have the temps at around 70F now and I spray the plants with tap water. It's slowly recovering. I have not fed my plants just yet. Probably tomorrow. How's everything going on your end?

going slowly as usual :D, 1 more plant has shown pistils

and all the new growth was lime-green the other day, today its dark green just a little lighter than the fans

its only 2 days since last watering and they are already showing signs of being thirsty again, i might let them wait for tomorrow, then ill have my ec meter, and they will be good dry and thirsty if i have to flush them alot to adjust the ph

Hey core.
I am using bio bizz atm also...just some of there stuff though.
U can add some molasses( i use hi-brix from EJ) this will help with the calmag issue with ro.
I run in promix atm and use ro with a little molasses an no issues:biggrin:

I also use T5's, an love em. that being said i know you want to keep the nodes tight, but i have mine about 12" away a look perfect. ill toss a couple pics of mine under t5's in my thread if you want to peak.

Cant wait to see your progress.

Loooking good core I would raise my light a tad just so she can stretch up a littlte and if the stretch is to bad top her and clone the top. she'll shoot rite up and speed up your nodes. just an idea.

Greenlife1, I would love to see your pictures. I am using a 8 bulbs 2 foot T-5 in a SJ Propagator tent and thinking about keeping this one real short and doing LST. I don't want to setup my DR150 just yet I don't really have the space at my place. My T-5 has been almost sitting on the top of my plant and its keeping it real short but with the heat stress I moved my the light up so its about 5 inches and my plant is doing alot better. I misted the plant about 5 times today to help with any moisture/heat stress recovery and its working well. I will take some pictures in the morning and let you see where I am at right now with the grow. Thanks for stopping by upload any pictures you like!

I was looking at some tutorials on topping today, I will upload a picture. I think I am supposed to top the uppermost growth after the 3rd set of leaves (nodes) right? I am trying to make her branch out and keep her low as possible and my grow space is restricted right now. I may build a grow cab because the DR150 is out of the question right now, no space for it. But I am not sure if a DR150 will be enough space. My lights I moved up a little because of heat stress so They are about 5 or so inches above my plant and the tops of my plants are at about 72 F most of the time. I will raise my light higher if I have anymore heat stress. I am hoping this turns out to be a nice female, but if its male I am going to collect pollen and store it then cut him down. Then move onto my next grow. Thanks for stopping by tleaf jr and appreciate any help or ideas you have.

Ok so here is todays update. December 30th. Plant is starting to look nutrient deficient. No big surprise it has been using the general purpose garden soil with 10ppm water since I started. I will water today with BioBizz full lineup at 1/3 recommended strength. 90 PPM starting water with a final of 330 PPM at 6.6. PH. I hope this gets things back on track. The Heat stress should be over with. MY temp probe shows a reading of 71 F Nearly 24/7 with my plants. I mist the leaves to increase moisture inside the tent, it raised RH from 30 to 44 but I am tired of misting so I will stop that. Anyway here are the pictures. I think I have to wait another week or so to top the plant until I am passed the 3rd node. Let me know what you guys think about when to top the plant.

For my nutrients i mixed them up in a 3 gallon jug and leave them outside (BioBizz) They stink! I leave them outside so they stay very cold but not frozen, it helps the nutrients not go bad. I only mix a gallon at a time but that is still too much for one watering for one plant so I have to keep it for the next feeding. So i store it outside in an orange jug, then I pour whatever I need into a brita water container and let it cool to room temp. Make sure the PH is good and water like that. Its a simple way to water I think.

This stays outside to keep nutrients cold so they wont go bad (BioBizz)

I pour what nutrients I need into the Brita water container and then water from there.

looking good :)

why don't you fim them instead? the best that can happen is 6 tops, worst is 2 tops like topping

I will check out the FIM technique. So I watered them with the BioBizz at 330 PPM PH 6.6. I watered to roughtly 30% runoff, And it was better then I thought! I collected 500 ML of the runoff and tested it with the BlueLab. Runoff PH is 6.8 and PPM X500 Scale was 430. Exactly 100 PPM more than I put in. All that tells me is that the soil had very little nutrients left in it and 330-430 PPM for a 3 week old plant is not bad at all. I should not have any burning at all. I did a Foliar spray as well. Now my plant smells like cannabis and fish shit. That damn BioBizz stinks! I have to wash all my stuff after I use it. Anyway I am attaching the runoff readings.
