trouble interpreting

Hello all,

I'm new to the site. I would like to say...high ! I did a search and am still lost. Any help would be great.

I am growing in coco / perlite at 70/30 . I flushed my medium with 5.7 ph'd water until the run off matched what was going in. Tds matched also at 155.

I then fed with fox farm nutes at 1600 tds and a ph IN at 5.7 and the run off was at 6.2. Tds came out at 255...

Question, Why the big difference on the tds reading and how should I read my ph ? why does it come out higher..

From what I just been reading, you don't need to read in or even bother with runoff and the logistics of it unless you are trying to troubleshoot a problem.

Do you have a problem with your grow? Notice any deffitiencies? If not, I doubt you will get a straight answer that will satisfy you on this topic alone.

Onaride - I am just curious, why are you measuring? Are you dealing with a problem of sort?
The reason being... I, myself measured my runoff and posted it here not so long ago. That had a big mismatch. I was told by many that the runoff itself is not accurate and cannot be used to resolve issues .. Just trying to help
