hey bay area

awesome man :)

you were saying something about re changes before

you need to know that a weekly flush, even at 50% nutes, is a must for a day or 2. salt can and will build up fast in the system, and flushes are key to success here

sooooo stoked dude, you have no idea :)

cant wait for more action

ballin dude :)

they are really easy to run. i usually recommend them for any seasoned soil grower as an intro to hydro :)

please let us know when you are planting. you using r/o water? just want to really let you know that changing tha water every week is very important to success with the tables. i do remember a mention that you cant drain them totally?

thanks for the updates again

you def will need to add cal mag at recommended dose.

when i am in warehouses with tiny water heaters, to save gas and power i just fill 55 gallon barrels after res changes and let em sit for a week, dispersing any chlorine in the process.

the thing is the plants grow so fast. and even with top ups of fresh nutes and water, you will run into problems without a 24hour or 48 hour flush every week.

are you doing salad grows or diff strain per tables?

with silver skunk you can veg at 1.0 ec and flower with 1.3. she is tough to run with other plants on the same res :)

Im Running h2o2 so I'm not sure but I think chlorine I bad for beneficials an I don't have any. I am just going to be changing res with strait cold tap water no heater. I'll then heat the water while mixing it an I'm sure it's in the 50 degree range. It's been cold. I didn't think about using cal mag. But was using it now in veg with my coco/pro mix.

I'm trying to do one strain grows but my moms are small still.

cool man. that should be fine. my reses are always hovering between 65 at night and 70-75 max during the day

most importantly, letting the water sit lets it warm up. most guys in bc dont use bennies, they just like the chlorine to dispurse. each to their own :)

i forgot to add in my last post, that a 24hr-48 flush is a must with a new res with new nutes :) unless you can prove me wrong, but i do notice they can and do suffer with out a propper change out, flush and reup :)

I've been fighting a cold so not much work has been done.

I'm ready for panda on top of the table. Then plumbing to the plants.

It's 6 mil vapor barrier. This is the vapor barrier they carry at lowes or the Home Depot. I forget which I got it at. But they call it clear but it's not so clear. I can snap a picture of the box later today. When back at the shop.

Edit. : It's actually Hdx 6mil plastic.

trippy

i really like seeing other peoples methods of my tables.

never seen it before. just wondering why you never cut those ends off?

and howare the holes sealed underneath? i dont recommend exposing any osb to the root zone either way :)

That left over is the excess from the vapor covering the underneth which was caulked around the holes like med-man method. I can pop the lid an take a pic of the inside. No wood is exposed inside the table. I figured the top was going to be covered with panda so as long as the excess was not in the way would be no big deal. My next post will show the panda.

I am having issues with the cups they don't want to stay down an are popping up. The next room I think a 5" hole would work better. As some of the net holes are showing with the 4.75 hole.

Tomorrow I'll be running 24 hour of h2o2 an shooting for Saturday planting.

This being a new room. I'm currently trying to dial in the environment just a little before the girls go in. These are 400 gal water cooled room/rooms. 73% rh at 89 deg F. that was with one light on last night. So i finished the 1hp chiller install. An put 4 lights at 50% I'm hoping for tomorrow but I think that is wishful thinking. I might have to install one or 2 more ice boxes. Or another 2hp chiller. I have 2 in the room now an was getting ready to put one on the lights with a small fan. That will help I'm sure.

Looks like I'll put a few of my Karen's kush as the rooted the other day. An a few of the Tahoe also.

So mostly blue cheese an a few Karen's an Tahoe.

Pics when they go in.
