All you can say to this is wow. Did they not read with SB420 does for the patients or Prop 215. I don't think they did.
Once it become legal the med laws wont mean shit anyways...and to be honest most the folks I know who have a med card, have one just to be safe. I'm not saying there are folks who use it for medical but facts are facts.

What puzzles the hell out of me is, why do they care? What harm is being done in Fresno county by people growing pot? Are the politicians just preparing the way for commercial or giant corporate pot growers so they can get a cut of that? Are they just waiting for another corporation to pay them off or offer them perks? I guess if they see a situation where they aren't getting a revenue cut they are going to come down hard on those people. That's the only motivation I can see for their actions. As usual a government entity wants to make sure they get their cut even when they aren't entitled to it.
I guess that little girl in Colorado who went from 300 grand mal seizures a month down to two or three after she gets her mj meds. is just faking it because mj really has no medical value. I don't see how these politicians can live with themselves. I think they look at everything that's being done and ask, how can I get my cut of that? Reminds me of the mafia to be honest.

I live in Fresno county. Here's my understanding of what has taken place. The county believes there have been to many cannabis grows with far to many plants. People have been killed and threatened by the growers. These are grows with up to 20,000 plants and whoever owns them, are willing to kill to protect them. The county supervisors took the easy way out and declared ALL cannabis grows of any type to be banned.
The county believes they have to protect the public. This has been ongoing now for several years. Homeowners in some of the out of the way areas complain to the county that they're afraid "of violence" and the county just responds. This county has no use for medical cannabis and doesn't care to follow state law and one of the appeal courts stated that the counties and cities can ban all growing inside and out.
I'm not even going to mention the sheriffs role in all this because they carry out all laws to the EXTREME in order to further inflame the situation and gain ground by hyping up the evidence. Even the local news channels use choice words to inflame the public and these are not words used to describe other crimes. In other words, my personal opinion is, this county has hated medical pot from the git go...no matter what, they are going to take away our rights to give rights to others. I wish I could write everything about this but it would take a book. Just suffice it to say, this county hates pot and is going to stop it one way or another and the laws don't mean shit....If you want to, look up some of my other posts and you'll find more on this subject, even from some years ago....

That's right, you cannot lawfully grow cannabis "an herb" in your own home. It's banned as though we are back in the days of prohibition. The fines are stiff, even for one plant. Not very many growers could afford to get caught. I think it's an act of circumventing state law but the county has found a way. This will spread through-out the land as soon as other states, counties and cities learn of how to do it.
cannabis growing that is visible to the authorities WILL be the target. outdoor growing been banned in san berdoo county for some time now. take it indoors, exhaust no smell, and make em get a warrant if they wanna see your meds! fuk em! what they don't know won't hurt you or them.
