Seattle, lost to the '49er's WAS on purpose.... to avoid the additional bye week...and loose momentum in the playoff's...thus allowing sum attention to be deflected....it was a premeditated loss w/ in reason to facilitate the home field advantage.....

I ain't buyin that one. If that were the case, why play your starters? To save face? Give them some playing time? Come on. Why risk getting your starters hurt so late in the season?

I'm glad you're not my coach......"We're throwing the game, but I want you to get out there and maybe get hurt because we don't want the team to take a bye week!"

Well, currently SF is 6th in the standings, and the Seahawks have the bye and face the winner of the 4th and 5th place teams in the conference in the 2nd round? And then possibly SF in the 3rd round, NFC championship game? That how it's gonna play out?
Unless Carolina or NO the nfc north winner can throw an upset into the mix...

just hadda buy NFL Audio Pass to listen in on key games live, only $4.95 per week, may not even have use it next week but good to have today.......

I get the noon Denver@Houston game for the AFC offering but I'm otherwise stuck with Minnesota@Cincinnati as the NFC selection. With several key NFC games running @ noon I can now listen in on any of them live.

yort- .............C'mon man!.......the billboard get under your skin or something? shecocks mental game will be their demise...if your not putting in 100% your gonna get rocked by the guy who is.

baba- yeah, I definately feel like an audible to a quick out route on the sherm side would have broke for a few big plays...he took himself out of the play before the snap on multiple occasions. i was at that game, and have watched it again on the dvr...tv coverage never showed sherman turning his back but it happened on multiple occasions...also i definitely feel like boldin is more then capable of showing shermans skinny ass what man power really is...he's(Sherm-head) not that physical but can lay hits like goldson if he has a few steps to get momentum.

Colts 23 Chiefs 7

Colts always take their foot off the gas. They did still have a very impressive performance. The crowd was silenced.

The Colts have victories over San Francisco, Seattle, Denver and Kansas City and they haven't had the same group of main players in any game.

Now they need Baltimore to win tonight. If that happens the Colts would be the number 2 seed because they win the tiebreaker in a 3 way tie with Cincinnati and New England.

Well, the Hawks are not invincible at home but we all knew that, any given sunday blah blah. But the Zona defense is legit, and if you can bottle up Wilson and Lynch you have a chance to win at Seattle.
Indy has some impressive wins, no doubt, and looks back on track after a rough stretch following Wayne's injury. They could roll all the way, i guess, though that would take winning at NE and at Denver? Depending on how it all plays out. But when they're playing well, especially defensively, they can beat anyone. Seems to me a little too soon to say 2nd year qb Luck will beat veterans like Peyton and Brady, but everyone thinks Russell Wilson can win a superbowl this year, and he's also a 2nd year player.

Bears lost by a jillion to the Eagles. Soooo i guess Lance Briggs' return wasnt the cure all for their defensive woes.
And they couldnt find 2mil a year for urlacher?!?

I was thinking everyone was still talking about last years football in here! :D Too late for a title change now though. I kind of figured it was current but a little confusing.

Anyway, it was sweet to see the Patriots win a game convincingly for a change. All the anal-a-cysts were picking the other team and not giving the Patriots a chance, it is always nice when they make them look like the dumbasses they are! :D Go Patriots!!!

And whoever picked the Cardinals in a bet made some sweet money on that one!

Well, I lost my fantasy football league championship game...by 1 fuckin point. LOL. Figures.

Anyway...my 9ers are in the playoffs....seattle lost at home...I can't really complain at this point.

I'll be rooting for St. Louis this week along with my 9ers.

Next game is gonna be a tough one against a surging Arizona team.

Harbaugh cracks me up...but he had a good point.

a huge move in the point spread on the Eagles/Cowboys game. figured I'd leave the 1st Week 17 spreads up for comparison's sake.

I'm fairly certain this has to do with Romo's back spasms.

I'm going to save my words regarding Seattle's game last weekend at home. Not going to blame any bad calls, we simply played like garbage.

This coming week, we NEED this St. Louis game. Anybody remember our last meeting with St. Louis?

9ers fans are salivating.

I lost my championship by 2 pts when I had Vernon Davis and my opponent had the SF Def for Monday night. I was ahead by 9pts. VD was held catchless and SF returned a ryan int for a td with like a minute left. So yeah, SF failed me this week.
It's getting a little interesting, there's still a chance SF could get home field for the playoffs or part of the playoffs.

St louis tends to play their divisional opponents tough. Bottom line, if you can hold SEA's offense to 14 or less at the Link you have a chance to win, because you're not going to score a lot on that defense, with that crowd noise.
When's Harvin coming back? Dude has earned all of his money in the training room, not on the field so far.

Harbaugh definitely is one of the most animated coaches when yelling at refs. Really tries to communicate with body language, lol. But i fear the backlash by refs who view his actions as whining and petulant. The refs have pride too, and they don't like being shown up either. Or, they have limits like everyone else.

i pulled off a convincing win in my fantasy championship! plugged in dalton over luck who i've been riding most of the season(read: minus the few weeks in which i refer to as the keenum experiment...needless to say...3 of my losses on the season came during the experiment) and it payed off big! solid games from my entire line up and even left a few points on the bench after a couple last minute moves(j.thomas on the wood for witten, and panthers d on the wood for lions d...oops lol) cant wait until next year!

Also....last REGULAR season game at the stick was as good as anyone could have asked for...I'm really happy that it was a game and not a blowout! go 9ers! QUEST FOR SIX!

saw a shecocks fan yesterday w/ family in the parking lot of a grocery store...needless to say i looked right at em in my 9er hat and said "how bout them cardinals!" lol I love this time of year!!!!
