Runoff PPM

Joe Fresh thanks for the info. That makes sense about the cal/mg. So stick with the 80PPM water and just PH Adjust? You don't think I will run into any issues? How should I adjust my BioBizz lineup when I start to fertilize? Will the 80 PPM effect my dosage? I usually let my water sit for many days to dechlorinate. Anyway let me know what you think, everyone stresses RO water is that only for Hydro setups and maybe coco? Thanks again.

generally for me..including cal/mg, i like my "starting" water to be roughly 200ppm...but this is including cal/mg, so if my water is less that 150ppm, i add cal/mg, if my water is over 150 ppm i wont add any cal/mg.

RO water is good and has its uses, but for me, just the reg groweri found its a waste, i grow in promix, and i end up using RO it just removed all the minerals from my water, then i go to the hydro shop and spend $ to replace those minerals...the advantage to RO it YOU get to choose what minerals are in the starting water, but i dont have terribly bad tap water, summer its at 175-190 and winter its at 140-160...
so i dont usually add cal/mg, but right now my base nutes have no cal/mg in them at all, and im seeing some cal/mg defs of my hashberrykush's, so i am supplementing them...

in your situation, i would probably take the 80ppm water, add cal/mg until water is 160ppm, then add base nutes to desired ppm range

Thanks again Joe Fresh, When does cal/mag deficiency usually strike? Its not usually an issue in the seedling stage of growth right? My seedling is only about a week or so old...

And does BioBizz contain any cal/mag in the mix? Instead of buying a seperate cal/mag supplement it would be easier if biobizz already had it.

So you think once my plants start showing nutrient deficiency just stick with the 80ppm water add the biobizz nutrients to my desired PPM, PH Adjust it, then apply?

So the RO system just lets me have a more precise knowledge of what exactly is going to the plants, Is this most important with hydro grows and not soil?
