I Saw an ad on TV for one of those horrible payday loan companies, with a guitarist, and one of the companies elderly characters playing guitar. This guy did the playing for the CGI elederly gent "Earl" I actually googled it wanting to find the other guitarist, who was also great.

That's some impressive playing. I've just been checking his vids out. Mouth open in awe.

From his wikipedia page: "Mike began his musical adventure aged four, when his parents introduced him to The Blues Brothers."

Who woulda thunk? From his upcoming Grammy award acceptance speech..."I'd like to thank Joliet Jake and Elwood for being my inspiration..."

i love treme, and all things david simon...but DAMN treme is the most emotional show i've ever watched, seriously i cry nearly every episodes... the writers and actors have this.... unspoken sadness.... SUBTLE sadness, yet a deterimation to continue the culture they are a part of......

Documentary called "237" its an analysis of Stanley Kubrick's film "The Shining." If you liked that movie, and especially if you are a fan of Kubrick's work, I highly highly recommend this. Nine different people give their thoughts on the movie and even other things Kubrick related that inform their analysis. This doc rocks. Streamable on Netflix.

Here is some more info from the wiki page:
