They sell circle tomato cages that may fit better with grow buckets for $5 bucks apiece.

Heres a J.Lambsbread.
Its in FFOF soil and its too hot for it. When I t/p them from 1's to 3's they will go into 50% HappyFrog and 50% Chunky Perlite.
You can see the tips curling down which indicates too much Nitrogen~

I often have problems growing real sativas in soil mixes with too much FFOF in them but have seen others grow them successfully in 100% FFOF which always baffles me.

Greetings,

Overgrow - I love that Jamaican you are growing. I can't get myself to call it Lambsbread or Lamsbreath. The first Jamaican I ever had in the early 70s was simply called Jamaican Ganja. The final product, after it had been removed from the stems, was very airy, fluffy, wispy, small bud that was extremely speedy and trippy. At the time, Colombian was the exotic, about to replace Mexican as king of the hill as the source for North America. Because of my own personal preferences, I considered the Jamaican Ganja, Thai Stick, and Sumatran a cut above. J. Ganja was the good stuff. In my opinion, the original Jamaican Ganja of Indian descent is what you have there. It is now rare and precious. Please preserve.

OldproLg - Your finished bud looks as beautiful as your growing plants did. You are a gifted grower with a good looking strain. Nice job.

Lovekush - Nice job with those beautiful plants also. I love seeing the fading yellow leaves on those ripening buds. Perfect. Nice job growing.

All the Best to all you dedicated sativa growers in the coming new year, and Happy Holidays.

How come I never read anything about south Indian sativa except that it's suposed to be good and there is a strain called Mumbai Mitai and the city of Mysore has also a pure sativa strain.
But were are the people who actually smoked it or grew it? Where can you buy the seeds?
I know you can buy seeds from a Kerala strain with the Real seed company, but I don't know if it's ant good.
Apart from that? I don't have the faintest idea.

Maybe like so many sativa heirlooms, it was "improved upon".

I've probably posted these in this thread before, but I was always fascinated by the stories of Sri Lankan pot.

excerpted from the book Orange Sunshine by Nicholas Schou, about the Brotherhood of Eternal Love
Once, Gale and a friend went surfing in Sri Lanka and discovered the villagers grew a powerful variety of marijuana. Gale offered to buy their whole crop. But the villagers didn't want money; they wanted Levi's jeans. "They headed back [to Laguna] and made everyone go to every Sears, looking in the paper for a cheap pair of Levi's," says Thumper. "And they shipped them over there and bought all this pot. They called it Mars pot. It was high-grade pot; it put Oaxacan, Michoacan, and Colombian Gold to shame. And we drained Orange County of Levi's. And that's cool, you know; that's entrepreneurial. What wrecked it was coke."
Before that book came out I cut & pasted this from a thread on Cali lines & breeders that fell by the wayside, from zamalito:

"My theory is that the haze has some amazing Sri Lankan genetics mentioned by BOEL leadership that they acquired on one of their many surfing trips there. Some members of BOEL have stated that while on one of their surfing trips to the island they discovered a small cannabis growing community that produced the finest herb any of them had seen which is saying a lot. It seems likely that seeds or herb would've been brought back. I actually have doubts that there's any thai in the haze at all and there may not even be any Keralian. Sri Lanka is located in the Indian ocean between south India and Thailand and central to ancient trade routes from India, Thailand and southern Africa. I've never heard that the holyweed was bred from BOEL imports but they were running large cannabis production facilities at Big Sur during the era this strain came from."

Im very happy today. My biggest healthy JLB is a female and is not burned at all. The other 4 are burned to shit and need the chop. This one took it like a champ. So glad its a female

I don't know of any breeders with pure blooded South Indian sativas but Mandala has used them in some of their hybrids. Probably the best bet from them for the strain with the most South Indian genetics in it is Mango Zamal since its Zamal x Lakshmi and Zamal is thought to have a lot of South Indian roots in its family tree.

ya ffof is very unstable.. meaning it varies bag to bag.. 1 bag might be perfect.. the next might be hot.. I just purchased there granules.. so now I can make my own ocean forest soil out of promix.. and adjust it to the strength I want instead of guesstimating .. especially with these new sativa strains.. I got going O.Haze x Skunk 1 x Kandy Kush x Skunk 1 also got some nycd x nz skunk x og18 x skunk..

im hoping the double dose of skunk. in these crosses makes for a good buzz.

another thing.. ive had plants that were runts.. or got burned by nutes.. seedlings.. that ended up being the best phenos in the packs.. im running 1 right now.. that I thought I was going to kill off.. and the shit is some of the best buds ive smoked

I smoked a haze once that had the true haze taste and smell. Only time I ever experienced a real haze. It was wicked good. He said it was silver haze. Not SSH. Just Silver Haze. I wonder if what I smoked was a real-deal haze like you have.
Great taste. Great sativa effect. I loved it. Its near impossible to find the real haze anymore these days. Even in the inner city. EVERYONE wants Haze around here and there isnt any real haze. Keep up the great work man.
The taste and effect must be extra special on that girl being a true haze.
I read that the Original Haze is free of intersex expressions, and never hermis. Is that true BlOod?

I would say not true on the o haze.. I popped 50 o haze seeds 4 years ago.. and 50 skunk 1 seeds.. and got 22 females out of 50 o haze.. 2 hermis.. and 26 males.. and the skunk 1 I got 28 females 1 hermi and 21 males.. I made o haze x skunk 1 .. and skunk 1 x o haze.. but haven't got to even try them yet..

but the o haze does have a really true sativa high.. I mean.. we ran a batch of year old o haze trim.. and this bho.. is sooo crazy... 1 hit and ur sweating and seeing trails .. very trippy oil.
